Wordlink Review

Wordlink Review: Scam Or Make $300?

Today I have for you a Wordlink Review.

Currently, there is an advert going around showing you how you can earn $300.

From it, the game looks like one where you answer simple questions and match words with there pictures.

It sounds like not only an intriguing game but an easy one to win money with potentially.

However, I have learned numerous times with these games is what you see at first doesn’t tell the whole story.

So while Wordlink looks like this game, I will talk you through what it is and whether you can make up to $300.

Wordlink Review Summary

What Is Wordlink?

Wordlink is a puzzle game that claims you can earn hundreds by completing simple questions.

That is the claim, but sneakily what they show you and claim is much different from what you get.

I will explain exactly what I mean by this in the next section.

They are owned by ToyStar games who have a series of games that are currently in development.

This game currently has 100 thousand installs to its name; however, there is no date when it was released.

How Does WordLink Work?

Now before I can talk about how Wordlink works, I have to address the elephant in the room, being there advertisement.

Wordlink Advert

But there are two sides to this one. There is the one you see in the advert, and there is a completely different version, which you will see when you download it.

In the description, they call themselves a crossword game.

However, that is nothing like the advert, as in the promotional video. It shows a game where you have the pick the correct word for pictures.

You see, this is what I saw on the advert:

Wordlink Advert

There is a picture of a crow, and you have two options, of which you need to pick the right answer.

If you look up, there is a balance of $300, and that is because this is a screenshot taken towards the end of the advert.

Over the advert, it showed a user completing little puzzles like that one above, and each time the dollars would go up by $50.

But as you would suspect, this is fake, and Wordlink has photoshopped this.

How To Play The Game?

With that to one side, let me explain how the game actually works.

So what you have is a standard crossword puzzle game.

There are a number of them that are just like this one that I have reviewed already, including:

  • Word Connect
  • Word Picnic
  • Woody Lucky Puzzle
  • Solitaire Real
  • Solitaire Tripeaks

If you have played a standard crossword, you will already know how to play Wordlink.

Now each level is based on a category, and, e.g., as you can see below with the first level, its to do with colors.

Level 1 Colours

You will have to find words within the crossword that is based on the category.

So like in the image, you can see it is showing me the word black. This will go into the five-word bracket at the top.

How To Make Money With Wordlink

After you have found each of the words in the crossword, you should get a small level bonus.

Level bonuses are common with a lot of these games and unlike a lot of them suggest with every action seeming to have a payout is how they actually pay.

Wordlink Payout

The above amount is what I got for the first level. If I then ahead and completed, I will get another bonus and so on.

Not every time will I get $2.43, it will likely drop, but over time you will accumulate money that you can put towards a cash-out.

If there is a catch, then it’s likely the fact that once you either reach a level or amount, you will see a decrease in earnings.

You may even struggle to collect any more, however until the game is released, or unless I play a lot of levels, I won’t know for sure.

How Do They Pay?

For Wordlink, you must get to $100 to get a cash-out.

What is odd is that it says ‘win’ instead of earn, so it suggests that your winning each bonus instead of being awarded it.

It’s an early red flag as it suggests that not everything you get given is actually yours.

What I Am Not A Fan Off

1. Not The Game Advertised

I have seen it on a number of occasions where like Wordlink, there is a completely different game advertised.

If you looked at the description of the game, you wouldn’t even think to associate it with the advert.

That’s because there is no way to make money matching words with an image once you have it installed.

With the ads for these games, they are always questionable as they often try to make an advert not to show you how fun the game is but just to get you to install it.

So what you do see, is adverts being completely misleading.

I can’t tell you how many have said that I could earn hundreds even thousands, but once you’re on the app, its a completely different story.

It’s not good to see, as it’s too misleading, but these apps always get away with it.

2. Might Not Get Paid

With games that are yet to be released like this one Wordlink, you have no clue whether they pay.

As people start playing these games, you get to see earlier on whether people will be able to cash out or if everyone reaches a certain threshold before struggling to earn any more.

From all the experiences I have had with reviewing apps, those with the highest thresholds never payout.

So when I saw that Wordlink had a minimum of $100, I wasn’t optimistic, as when it is so high, it makes it tougher for companies to pay that amount out.

When the developers release the app fully, I will be returning to this Wordlink review to let you know if they pay out for sure. But for the time being

Conclusion

With the advert, it is hard to believe anything that comes from Wordlink and its developers. Now, if they are willing to false advertise their game, you can expect them to not be as truthful when it comes to getting paid.

In the video, they show you how you can earn up to three hundred dollars; however, I would say you would be lucky to reach the hundred dollars and receive it.

There is just a lack of transparency with this game that just fills with no hope in that they pay. However, they could prove me wrong, which I wouldn’t mind.

You can download Wordlink give it ago, but like games such as Amazing Cube and Lucky Toss 3D, where there are hundreds of people saying how they cant more, there are no guarantees.

To save your time, I would suggest going with a proven app that is known for paying people out, so if you do invest your time, at least you will have something to show for it.

Hello I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with cashing out? My experience thus far is in the beginning my “winnings” were $2 some change, maybe a buck 50 in the lower levels. As I leveled up “winnings” were VERY minimal if anything at all.like 12/13cent.. Currently I am at level 215. “Winnings” $98.44. I have been playing for maybe 5 days or so. Its a shame how you feel like im so close but nothing! Oh and my Word Link game is to see what words am I able to get from one word.

That’s the problem with games like Wordlink as they make you feel like you will get paid. But unfortunately, they never do, that is why you have got to $98.44 however are now stuck.
