If you are wondering what games pay real money, well, let me say this is the perfect post for you.
Now with how accessible phones and the internet are, it was only a matter of time before smartphones became a way to earn money online.
Before all the earning opportunities came in the form of apps, you had your online extra income sites, sites that will help you build businesses, and more.
But now, in 2020, we have seen a massive increase in the number of games that claim to help you make real money.
You would think that’s a good thing, as the more opportunities, the more money people can make.
However, from what I have seen, it’s been the opposite.
Here at Achievemorethanaverage.com, I have reviewed 100’s of apps, some of them were proved to be good little earners while the majority of them turned out to be time-sucking scams.
It’s probably the reason why you have made your way to this post, because you may be looking for some games that will actually give you some extra cash to spend on whatever you like.
You may have come across some apps that claim to do so, whether that merge puppies like in the popular Puppy Town or tossing rings onto objects in Lucky Toss 3D.
A lot of them say you can win all this money. However, the number of people winning money is unsurprisingly very low, if that.
So in this post, I will talk you through whether you can earn money playing games and, if so, what games pay real money.

Is It Possible To Earn From Playing Games?
There are plenty of games on the app stores that claim that you can earn money just by playing games. I can tell you it’s possible to earn money by doing exactly that.
A few years ago, I used to use a few apps that pay you to test out games.
It wasn’t lucrative.
In fact, I only earned a few dollars a week from doing it, but at the time, it was a nice little income, especially since I didn’t need to work for it.
Nowadays, where the problem is that companies have exploited this by creating dozens of games supposed to help you earn money.
But the reality they aren’t actually earning apps, essentially they are fake, and the people in charge have no intention of paying out.
If you just look at the adverts that are circling, they all say you can win a brand new iPhone 12’s, lots of money, and other rewards.
They aren’t saying you can win all this. They are saying you can ‘get’ this, and that is why no one will be getting anything as it’s not feasible.
The answer to the question is yes, it is possible to make money from playing games. After all, companies out there pay for people’s opinions on games in what’s called market research.
But for many of the games that show you unrealistic claims of massive sums of money, I am afraid to break it to you, but they’re all lying to you.
It’s what motivates me to review all these apps because if I can put a review out and some of you see it before falling for these apps, hopefully, it saves you a great deal of time.
Why Do Some Apps Lie About Paying Out?
The easy answer is that these companies are in for the quick bag. It’s all about convincing and getting as many people to play their game so they can earn money from the ad revenue.
They aren’t here for the long stay, and I’m sure many of these apps know that because of how misleading they are, they could be removed from the app store any day.
Now I know the companies are greedy and definitely don’t care about anyone else but themselves and their back pockets, but I would love to see the people behind these apps as they don’t seem to mind misleading millions of people.
Going off that last part, the fact that these apps get millions of downloads means that unless the developers are billionaires, there is no way that they could pay out everybody even if they wanted.
Unfortunately, this is just one of the many secrets app developers try to keep from us.
How To Tell Which Games Will Payout?
Since I have reviewed over 100 apps, I consider myself experienced enough to know what to look out for, for games that don’t pay out.
Luckily with these misleading apps, they are easy to pick out, since many of them are the same in the way they work.
So here are a few things to look out for, if you are someone who is consistently being caught out by these apps:
Unrealistic Rewards
Games/apps can payout. However, there are no legitimate companies that will give out $100’s of dollars just like that. Even if you are giving them ad revenue by watching their videos, there is no way that just by completing levels that you can make lots of money.
So very simply, if an app makes unrealistic claims on how much you can earn, then they are most likely shady and will never give you a penny.
Legitimate apps only give out a few dollars, and if they were to give out huge rewards, it would likely be for a sweepstake.
Advert Overload
Another sign that a game is never going to pay you is if they put an advert in front of you at every opportunity. App developers do tend to put adverts in their game anyway. That is because it’s an easy and effective way to monetize their apps.
However, if you find that you are getting ads every second and it’s almost too spammy, it’s a sign that the developers are looking to make quick money and won’t pay you out at the end.
What Games Pay Real Money?
Some games will offer a legitimate opportunity for you to earn, some of which I have reviewed on here. So in this section, I will go through 10 games that will pay you real money.
1. ClipClaps
ClipClaps is an app that has become very popular since there release by Grand Channel Entertainment Limited at the start of 2020 in February.
They are known for being an app that rewards users for watching funny memes and videos. It’s essentially Instagram/Facebook, but instead of using those social media sites for free, in this case, you get paid.
You can earn by watching videos, but another feature is there are games that you can play within ClipClaps where you earn cash.
Once you have got to $15, they will pay you out in cash through PayPal. They even give you $0.10 as a signup bonus, that unlike other games where you have to reach a threshold, they will give it to you straight away.
If you want some proof that they pay, here is a screenshot of one I received not too long ago.
So if you’re looking for an app that doesn’t just pay you to play games but also to do other things like viewing clips and getting involved in competitions, then this is the one for you.
2. Mistplay
One of the most popular apps over the past few years for making money playing games is MistPlay.
Mistplay is a game that introduces to you new games while also offering the incentive of earning gift cards for your time.
How it works is you launch the app, and on there, you will see a range of different games to play. Once you have picked a game, you then install it on your phone and start playing.
As you play, you will earn what’s called XP. This can be accumulated and put towards gift cards within the store.
It’s been a popular game, and with millions of users, plus plenty of great feedback on the app store, it’s one I do recommend.
3. Fitplay
With a similar name to Mistplay, however, owned by different developers, Fitplay is another game that pays people to play new games. The app is owned by the Fitplay Company and has over 5 million downloads.
This app works exactly the same in that you have a choice of games to play, and every time you download one and play it for a few minutes, you will earn points.
Now the difference between the two is that while they are both great, Fitplay is a game that pays real money on PayPal, whereas Mistplay only gives gift cards. So depending on your preference, you might want to opt for one or the other.
4. Swagbucks
Swagbucks is another favorite of mine when it comes to earning money online. Not only are they one of the biggest extra income sites that people go to, but they have multiple opportunities for you to earn.
One of which includes playing games, which has been a feature on their site for years. After making an account and picking up your $5 bonus completely for free, you will have a choice of games to play.
When you play these, you will get SB, which can be converted in dollars and from there redeemed for various rewards. This, of course, includes cash but also popular worldwide gift vouchers.

Conclusion
In times like this, not only is it tough to make money, but it’s hard at first to know what opportunities out there is a good use of your time.
What 2020 has shown is that with extra income apps and sites, just because they say you can earn money doesn’t necessarily mean you will actually get anything.
Essentially there are just so many scams out there, and you need to be careful and no the red flags, so you don’t get sucked in.
I can confidently say that the apps that I have listed above are popular and ones I have used myself, so I can vouch for them.
Stay safe out there, and I will see you in the next post!

Thank you so much for your blogs. It exposes these fraudsters for what they really are.
Every time I see their commercials now I want to find out where they are and just give it to them.
Why does Google even allow these people to offer these scams?
I pleyed BigBag Popstar and Block Puzzle the biggest fraudsters on the net at the moment. Block Puzzle before you reach 100$ level, which is the threshold for payout, it keeps giving you blackscreen and the game slows down you-d think the phone will give up.
These people should go to jail for the criminals that they are.
I really appreciate that Sheg, you would be surprised by how many people think I am in on this when that is far from the case.
But as you can see by my posts I am simply trying to help save peoples time so they don’t end up disappointed when fake games don’t payout
I hear you, those two are games I have checked out already, and as I expected they were not as they were set out to be.
Josh
Hey, Josh. I got here from your Cash’em All review. Thanks for giving an honest review. It’s really great that you’re making these articles. Yeah, I’ve been doubtful about these apps flashing all those stack of dollars and it was unrealistic to even begin with. That $14.75 was really low, considering we’re not really working hard for it. Even 2 or 4 devices on ClipClaps wouldn’t cut it. But it is one heck of a ridiculous idea in my head.
Anyway, I just commented here just to say I appreciate all these effort of yours. Great entry, man. Keep going.
Appreciate that Bismillah! 🙂
