So for the next 10+ minutes or so I aim to provide you with a WarriorPlus review that has all the answers to your questions.
So without further ado, as there is plenty to cover, let’s get into it.
Table of Contents
What Is Warrior Plus?
Warrior Plus is an online marketplace that was launched in 2006.
They help publishers, who are selling their courses and products, and affiliates, who want to promote them and make money.
Now you have probably heard of Warrior Plus already since they are one of the biggest marketplaces for internet marketing products online.
But one of the reasons why they stand out to many is the array of digital products.
All of which are tailored to the internet marketing niche.
So anything to do with making money online, getting traffic, making sales, etc is what you will find at Warrior Plus.
WHO FOUNDED WARRIOR PLUS?
It was started up by Mike Lantz, however even though he is the one who created it he operates most in the background.
What I mean by this is he likes to keep quiet so there isn’t too much out there.
While doing my research I wasn’t able to find too much info on him apart from the odd video talking at the annual Warrior Plus conferences.
He has also been involved in starting another company in Lexico LLC which is a small translating business that came onto the scene in 2003.
What Is Warrior Forum?
I have seen several people get confused between these two sites: Warrior Forum and Warrior Plus.
So to put it simply Warrior Plus is a marketplace, whereas Warrior Forum is an internet marketing forum.
It was launched in 1997 and has its headquarters based in Asia.
While they seem to be similar and linked they are separate websites started up by different people.
The man who started Warrior Forum is Allen Says however he left the company a few years back, within that time the platform has come up leaps and bounds and is known as the #1 IM forum online.
What Is Warrior Forum WSO?
Now while there are differences between the two, there is a marketplace feature which is called Warrior Forum WSO.
This stands for ‘Warrior Special Offers’ and is a place which works in the same fashion as Warrior Plus.
You can promote your products by becoming a Warrior Forum WSO, however, you do need to apply to list them.
You can promote your products by becoming a Warrior Forum WSO, however, you do need to apply to list them and pay a one time fee of $20.
The other way to benefit from WSO is by becoming a Warrior affiliate.
Very straightforward as you can get paid commissions for promoting advertisers products.
How To Use Warrior Plus?
Now first things first you will need to make an account.
Right off the bat, something that stood out to me as someone who frequently uses other affiliate marketing programs is you only need to make the one account.
Now often is the case you will need to make a separate one depending on your intentions.
So whether you want to be a publisher or affiliate it doesn’t matter as you can think about that later after signing up.
Registering an account is free, and requires just your username, an email address and a password.
After this, you will need to go into the inbox of the email address and verify your account.
This all fairly straightforward and takes a few minutes to complete.
But now we have the sign-up process out the way lets get into how being an affiliate works.
Becoming An Affiliate
Once you are logged in you should see a dashboard which includes currently trending products.
This will show you those products that are performing the best on the current day, yesterday, last 7 days and finally in the previous 30 days.
Now while many will be eager to get started now there are a few steps you must follow first to start promoting.
Firstly you will need to find a product for you, of course, as I’ve mentioned you have the ones on the home page but you also have the marketplace.
I will talk more about that area later, but this is where you will find all the current IM products that people want to promote.
Once you have found a product that suits you will need to copy the name of the product and go over to the affiliate tab at the top.
From here you will then need to scroll down to where it says ‘get links’ and then search for that product.
The reason why this step is necessary is that you can’t just start promoting any product you find.
How it works is you need to apply to the product owner for permission first.
So once you have located it, you will need to click on the blue button that saids request and from here you will need to wait to be approved.
I know it may seem long-winded but once you go through the process a few times you do get more familiar with it.
Let me just say though that while it’s a necessity for Warrior Plus affiliates to request this it is a common practice.
So if you are new to affiliate marketing you will likely need to go through the same steps as with other affiliate networks.
How To Make Money With Warrior Plus?
Now you have the links and know how it works your next job is to get them out there and promote.
That is how you will make your money, but there are different ways you can go about it.
If you have a social media account you could chuck a few affiliate links on there however if you want to make money you will need a strategy.
So let’s go over a few avenues you can go down.
METHOD 1: PROMOTING AFFILIATE PRODUCTS ON A WEBSITE
Putting affiliate links to products on a website is one of my favourite ways to bring in an income.
There are different ways you can monetize a website, you can go down the ad revenue route you could open up some spots for sponsorships.
But promoting affiliate products is probably the best way, as you have a platform to show people the products that they are looking for.
How it works is like this:
(1) – Pick An Interest
This is something you have passion in and would want to build a site around.
Now because we are focusing on MMO products, you will want to concentrate on a certain area of that niche.
You can take on MMO as a whole however it is broad and you will have better success narrowing down.
(2) – Think Of A Brand Name
This brand name is something you will then need to pick out. Doesn’t matter too much what it is, just something brandable and works for you.
Once you have it, do some research on available domains, and pick it up if it’s not already been taken.
(3) – Build The Website
Next thing to do is to build the actual site. If you have seen ads around, you may be aware of companies like Wix, Squarespace and Wealthy Affiliate.
(4) – Get Traffic
Lastly and this is how you will make your money is by getting traffic to your site.
Now if you know what you’re doing you can get traffic pretty easily.
There are two types you can get, there is paid and free.
It doesn’t matter which one you choose but getting people who are interested in the products you want to promote is key.
But now that you have the traffic you can start making money by inserting your affiliate links from WarriorPlus.
METHOD 2: PROMOTING AFFILIATE PRODUCTS TO YOUR EMAIL LIST
You don’t need a website to promote Warrior Plus products or any product for that matter.
You can build an email list by creating a landing page and just build up a list of peoples emails.
Once you have a good amount of emails you can then start sending out emails with a call to actions.
These call to actions, will be something like, I have been using ‘insert warrior plus product’ and it helped me, click here to check it out.
By building up trust through this means, you can make commissions just by rinsing and repeating this.
METHOD 3: PAY PER CLICK STRATEGY
The pay per click traffic ties in with method 1 and 2.
What this consists of is buying traffic, whether that be from Facebook, Google, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
From there you will want to convert that traffic into sales and in this case directing those people to the warrior plus products.
Now it sounds easy, and it can be.
It is a risky strategy if you have no experience in PPC advertising, as it can be costly.
If you want to get started you will need to spend 1000’s and only in some cases will you get a positive return from it.
That is because it requires to test out different variables before you find something that works and leaves you in profit.
Its one of the best ways if you want instant results, but yeah PPC is not for everyone.
METHOD 4: SOCIAL MEDIA (YOUTUBE, FB, INSTAGRAM, PINTEREST)
Like we talked about you can pay to promote products on social media platforms.
The above example includes paying for ads, however, you don’t have to.
If you can build up a brand and following you can sell products to your audience.
Making money using social media over the past few years has become normal, with many people utilizing as we speak.
Now there are three ways to go about this:
- Sending direct messages
- Posting content and dropping your links
- Leaving links in your bio
If you have an account with a substantial following (I would say 1000+ followers) then the good news is that you could make money in quick time.
However, if you are new you want to build that follower count, preferably with people who have an interest in making money online.
The is because no one will engage with you and look at what you promote unless you are seen as credible and trustworthy.
Section 6: Warrior plus features and Tools
Being a member of Warrior Plus gives you access to some key features and tools that help you make commissions and sell your products.
First, let’s have a look at what you have by being a vendor.
OFFER SET UP
By heading over to the offer page you can create your offer for listing.
This is a two page set up and requires you to list all the details of the product you want to promote.
You will need to put in the name, an image, description, type, keywords and a link to the sales page.
This is a cool feature which applies to both vendors and Warriors affiliates.
Vendors can choose whether to run contests for affiliates to give them additional incentives to promote them.
Vendors can create these affiliate contests under their own conditions and if you can come in one of the top spots you will get the bonuses they are offering.
So those who make either the most revenue or produce the most leads in contests win rewards.
The stats are a useful tool for affiliates to track how well their sales funnels are working.
Here you can see how stats like how many sales you are making for every product you promote along with.
- How much of traffic convert to traffic?
- Earnings per click/action
- How many clicks you have got so far?
- Accumulated sales so far
This is a useful feature and a common addition on most networks, but I do like Warrior Plus’s stats as they give you what you need to make more money.
So let’s say you have two products, product A is getting more clicks then product B and also more sales.
However, product B is getting much better earnings per click.
Then you may want to make product B your main focus.
At the end of the day though, there’s more to affiliate marketing than just spraying links out there, so this feature will come in handy.
When you go onto affiliate > offers you will see a heart-shaped icon on the far right column.
Now the number that you find on each product here is the pulse score.
This feature aims to help affiliates find products that are doing well and getting lots of sales.
So the higher the number the more commissions being made, the higher the conversion rate.
If your looking for products that are going to be easy to convert with your audience this is a key statistic to take note off.
Another key feature I not only came across but was mentioned a lot was the refund rate.
This is key for affiliates earnings as if you make a sale and a refund is requested. You won’t get paid.
So paying attention to those who have higher rates compared to others will help you make more money.
WARRIOR PLUS PURCHASE HISTORY
If you want to find out about any of the Warrior Plus purchases you have made you will be able to find that by heading to your account.
This feature helps you find out all the details about your past purchases, including the vendor, product and the price.
Section 7: WarriorPlus Support
There are three types of support you can get on the site. All of which I will talk you through now.
1 -WARRIOR PLUS EMAIL SUPPORT
The first type of support is for any issues which are unrelated to payments.
You can access this by going to the Warrior Plus help section.
In the bottom right corner, there is a red bubble icon where once clicked you can start a conversation with the support team.
Normally you will need to wait a few hours but it can take up to 1 business day to get a reply.
2 – PURCHASE SUPPORT
There is also purchase support which you access as well in a separate section.
However, this isn’t to do with WarriorPlus but between you and the vendor.
But the option is available after you purchase a product to contact the vendor personally.
So if you have had a problem with that product this is the first place you should go. Not the support team.
3. WARRIORPLUS FAQ
This is also on the help page and is something worth going through before you send in a request.
On this page you will see commonly asked questions on being an affiliate, buying, selling and your account answered.
So before you contact them, you have been able to find the answer here first.
Section 8: Payment Methods & When do they Pay
Whether you are a vendor or affiliate there are a couple of choices when it comes to payouts.
Your main choice is PayPal which is accepted in most countries. If you want to know where it’s not supported check out this link here.
The second option you have is Stripe, unlike PayPal, the amount of countries that it’s accepted in is only twenty-five.
The last option is bank transfers.
One of the highlights along with the fact they support PayPal is the instant payment system.
If you are a new vendor or seller you will undergo a testing phase. So you will be given an internal score which starts at a 100 and goes down to 0.
While you have an internal score all your payouts will be delayed from between 7-30 days.
So by having a good track history, only having a few refunds, basically building up a credible account will lower your score.
Once you have hit 0 you will then be eligible for those instant payouts.
Section 9: Warriorplus Marketplace
The WarriorPlus marketplace is where you are going to find all the products on the site for promoting.
Heading over the marketplace you will see all the latest products to be released.
Now while you will see what’s new and trending if you want to find specific products, there are tools for you.
You have the vendor search, where you can browse through products listed up by specific dealers.
This is useful if you have promoted something that is converted well and you want to look at what else a certain vendor has created.
The other way is by typing in keywords or offer titles, which I briefly went over earlier in that you can find the type of products your after.
If you do not know what you’re looking for, you can click on categories within the dropdown menu of the marketplace.
Here you will see 5 main categories made up of several subcategories. You have:
- Marketing Education
In total these combine to offer around 15’000 products.
Next to every vendor’s name you will see a bell, this is where you can set up alerts from them.
By adding alerts for vendors you will be notified of any up and coming products through your email.
This is a good opportunity for those for promoting highly anticipated products on its launch day.
While the site is updated every few minutes, adding alerts will let you know the second there is one without needing to check the website.
DEAL OF THE DAY
This is an opportunity for vendors to get the spotlight on one of their products.
So just as it sounds every day a new offer is selected as the deal of the day. These are manually picked by the Warrior Plus team.
There isn’t too much you can do though to get on here apart from selecting the deal of the day option when listing a product on the market. This will make you eligible, but not guaranteed.
How WarriorPlus decide what product to choose all depends on various factors, so there isn’t a way to buy in and you aren’t able to contact them to ask to be featured.
They look for quality, good reviews, value, conversions and a good history with refunds, so if you fit in that criteria you will have a chance at being featured.
Section 10: Advantages & Disadvantages
PRO 1: INSTANT PAYMENTS
One of the stand out positive aspects is the efficiency of the payouts. When you become a member you won’t be entitled to this perk straightaway.
But once you have worked on your pulse score it becomes easy to get payouts faster, to the point where they come through instantly.
When you compare this to other affiliate networks, they will normally work on a monthly net basis.
This means whatever you make in a month, you will be paid on a certain date in the next month.
It’s pretty similar to the standard job, meaning you will need to wait to get paid.
PRO 2: GOOD VARIETY
While this is also a con as I will talk about in a second, there is still a good variety of products on offer.
Whether you want to promote them or take advantage of them yourself.
The marketplace allows you to search through the type of products you want to find.
There are thousands to go through, so you can go through as many as you like and find something that works for you.
CON 1: YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL
Being the biggest internet marketing marketplace doesn’t mean that it is all fine and dandy.
In fact over the past years, Warrior Plus has had several incidents where scammers have requested to promote only to con money out of the vendors.
What they have been doing is hacking into peoples PayPal accounts and making sales as an affiliate.
However within days as you would expect these vendors are receiving chargebacks, where they are needing to refund the money.
But how the scam works is that these affiliates are still keeping their commissions.
So while Warrior Plus is well known, people are utilizing it to there advantage in a bad way.
This means if you want to promote your product you must be careful when it comes to choosing which ones to allow.
This leads me to con number two.
CON 2: SIGN UP IS TOO EASY
You’re probably thinking, well that’s a weird con.
Surely if you can be up and running in five minutes then its nothing but a positive.
Well here’s the thing,
The reason why scams are a common occurrence at Warrior Plus is that the sign up is too easy.
This means anyone can make an account, and to add in the space of minutes.
With other networks, I have been a member for I have had to not only give them all my details to be an affiliate but also schedule a call to talk to a member of the networks team.
So when I joined these I would fill in one or two pages of info. This will be on the lines of how I plan to promote the products, my source of traffic, etc.
The call which isn’t always required will just be going over the information you gave them when signing up.
None of this needed here which is bad.
CON :3 NO TRAINING
You can always buy one of the products at Warrior Plus as you will find plenty that shows you how to make money with the platform.
However, if you are someone who as no clue how affiliate marketing work you likely won’t know what to do with those links.
I did talk about some of the ways in which you can promote your links, but having training available will help you.
So ultimately it can be quite overwhelming.
CON:4 LOTS OF LOW-QUALITY PRODUCTS
When you have thousands of products on offer then you are bound to have a good chunk which is below par.
Just by going on the marketplace and looking at the products yourself you can see this.
For instance, a lot of them make unrealistic claims about how much money you can make (essentially get rich quick) and are just overhyped.
So if you are to promote these products it will ultimately make you look bad. As a result, you will lose trust.
This is why if ever i promote a product it is because its something I can back and am confident other people can benefit from.
So when I see something like, ‘make $10’000 in the next 24 hours’ or something along those lines.
I immediately know that that is not something I want to get behind because I know that’s not realistic and won’t happen.
The reason why overhype is bad is that it’s often not a true reflection on how making money online works.
It’s not pressing a few buttons and voila a never-ending supply of money.
It’s more learning about the process, putting it into action, being consistent until months down the line you have built up a business that is generating some revenue.
How much you can make, well there’s no limit, but achieving these results isn’t an ‘overnight’ feat.
Now let me just end off this point by saying not every product is poor, but the majority are.
Section 11: How to Request a refund on Warrior plus
To get a refund you will need to contact the vendor which is the person you brought the product off.
This is the first place you go to, and to get hold of them, you will need to find their email address.
It can be found with the receipt sent to your email or on the thank you page which is what you were redirected to shortly after purchasing a product.
So yeah you will need to contact them.
If you don’t get a reply, your next course of action is to contact the Warrior Plus team, but only if the situation isn’t resolved.
So if you get ignored, WarriorPlus support will send a request on your behalf to issue a refund to you.
Lastly and if it does come to this, you will need to contact PayPal as a last resort, to discuss what it’s possible.
My advice here is that and I mentioned this before is to try to stay towards vendors who have a good track history.
If they have a good history there’s a high chance that a refund will be issued with little to no problems.
Section 12: WarriorPlus BBB: What are customers saying?
From checking the Better Business Bureau, Warrior Plus is not BBB credited and has been awarded the letter ‘F’ for its rating.
This is a poor rating and is mainly due to the fact that Warrior Plus is either slow to or don’t reply to complaints.
Just from looking at the reviews there was only 5 that were resolved the most recent ones show up to 6 have not.
Now having complaints not resolved isn’t too much of an issue until you see the dates.
So when I saw that these complaints dated back to last year, then it does make you question Warrior Plus’s credibility.
In the past section, I talked about refunds and while I was writing it I knew that despite the three steps that there could be potential issues.
If a vendor denies a refund that could easily be made, with Warrior Plus not in charge of this, you are already facing a battle.
This reflects the majority of reviews I read, where people reported how they have had to chase hard for refunds.
Some of those have been sorted despite the chase, however, a lot of them haven’t which is a concern.
Section 13: WarriorPlus Review Conclusion: The final verdict
Now If I am to give my thoughts I would not say that Warrior Plus is a scam or anything.
They simply give you a good platform to sell your products and also make money by promoting them.
However, a lot of the products on offer are low quality which is why I have stayed away from the platform.
They are overhyped and set unrealistic schemes so for me as someone who uses affiliate marketing to make money I don’t want to recommend those kinds of products.
You will find good products but these are few and far between.
So this brings us to the conclusion of this WarriorPlus review.
I hope I have answered all your questions and for those of you who were interested in joining, I hope it helped you figure out if it’s for you or not.
If you want to learn how to make money with a website and promoting products through affiliate marketing.
