The goal for most people in the world is to make money. While most people work your standard 9 to 5 job, there is a good chunk of people who turn online to bring in an income.
That is because online, you have plenty of intriguing ways to make money, some of which don’t even require you to leave your sofa or bed.
One way of earning in particular that gets people thinking that they can earn without doing anything is the money-making apps where you play through a game for a few minutes.
With these types of games, they are in another bracket to your typical earning opportunity because they promise you hundreds of dollars.
Money which too many is just too much to turn down, even with most of these apps looking fake almost straightaway.
The latest app I have found is Veggie Popstar, just like what I have just been speaking about.
Are they a money-making game? Yep.
Do they have opportunities that look to pay you hundreds a day with little effort needed? Yep.
However, do they payout and are they at least just a legit application? Well, not exactly, of which the reasons are quite interesting.

What Is Veggie Popstar?
Instead of labelling Veggie Popstar as a cool little game that pays you for playing it, I will tell you straight what it is.
The app and the developers behind it are actually selling this dream to their users to become rich.
Now, if you asked anybody whether you could become a millionaire playing games, they will likely say no.
Why so is it’s just not possible, especially not from apps that are easily accessible by millions.
You could potentially get paid lots of money to test video games for big game developers, not for your everyday puzzle game that has 100 types of it already existing.
Despite explaining all of that, of which you may understand already that this game is not genuine.
The owners have already managed to attract 10 thousand players to their game because of how easy they make the game look.
Veggie Popstar is your bog-standard bubble popping game but with dollar icons sprinkled around the app.
Because of that, there is so much interest, and that is how these apps become so successful while making a mockery of their users in the process.
How Does Veggie Popstar Work?
There is no denying that Veggie Blast is not only aesthetically nice on the eye, but the gameplay is kind of okay.
I hate giving these games praise, but the developers know what works, and weirdly, you have to admire them for it.
That is a combination of an easy to play concept as well as money, something that catches on with so many mobile gamers.
Now, if you are new and don’t know how Veggie Blasts works, well, all you are doing is completing levels where you are popping bubbles.
Despite what the owners have called the game, you are blasting both veg and fruit.
Your reward for successfully doing this repeatedly is virtual money in the hundreds.
However, as you can tell, the money seriously comes in tons.
But as you can tell, it’s not as clear cut as that, and of course, there is a bit of’ catch’.
I will explain this catch in the next section.
Moving back when you clear these blocks from this 10×10 grid, you will earn points.
That is because your goal, as you can see from the screenshot above, is to reach the target amount.
If you do this, you move on. If you fail as you would expect, the stage needs redoing.
The Catch With Veggie Popstar Money
Now, for this all in an important catch that you’re now wondering about.
That is all this money you see, is not real.
The game will let you generate as much as you want to your heart’s content.
You could probably get to million dollars within the game if you have too much time on your hands.
However, it will get you absolutely nowhere.
You will be right where you started because the virtual currency, despite what you may see, cannot be exchanged or withdrawn.
To keep it Pegi-3, it is a little crafty of them to do this.
But let me explain that because of some loophole, you aren’t being cheated out of money.
That is since anything you earn is essentially nothing. It’s just numbers on a screen.
Now while Puzzle! Game LLC and their game Veggie Popstar could always integrate real ways for their users to earn.
Whether that be sweepstakes that make things more ‘realistic’ or smaller amounts.
However, they don’t really have any intentions to do any of this, and as a result, it makes games like this not even worth your attention.
The only reason why I have taken it upon myself to install it is to help you out.
I am more than willing to install the game, tell you what it about then has more people still try their hand at it.
How Do They Pay?
If you have started playing Veggie Popstar, I would say not to think about the cash amounts or even the iPhones that ironically have the word real attached to the game.
That is not because I don’t want you to win these amounts. It is all that I know they don’t pay you.
As you can see from the screenshot, you supposedly have an iPhone up for takers.
Now it says you get one if you complete the game and accumulate 200 views, maybe 300 if we consider the ads you have when you play the game.
These requirements make no sense, and I can tell you right now how I know it’s fake.
On a legitimate website I use to make money called Swagbucks, you can get about a cent for each video.
Maybe a couple if your lucky, or if you watch a series of them.
But in the case of Veggie Popstar, you get an item worth $1299 for watching just 200.
So as you can see by doing simple calculations that it doesn’t add up.
Websites don’t pay you small amounts like a cent because they want to short change you.
They pay it to you because that is how much that action costs.
After all, you are just watching a video, something millions of people can do worldwide.
With all these factors considered, it guarantees to me that no one is winning ‘real’ iPhones from it.
Conclusion
There are a few things that are guaranteed in life.
You have dying, taxes and of course, Veggie Popstar not paying a single person out.
What they offer is more than they can handle.
Imagine if 10000 people, which is likely to rise as more people become aware, paid out everyone a new iPhone.
It would cost them more than they could ever fund or pay.
That is why I’m not too fond of games like this, where they make it abundantly clear what their intentions are.
As well as being completely fine with fooling thousands of people.
