Up2Give Review: Don’t Trust This Scammy Scheme!

Chances are you have been on Up2Gives site, watched the sales video, and thought ‘heh’.

Scams like Up2Gives like to use a made-up language to convince people into buying their products.

They talk about how they are offering a service that is revolutionary and benefits everyone.

However, I think otherwise in that this Up2Give scam is trying to fool everyone and in this review, I will take you through why they are full of ‘s’.

What Is Up2Give?

To summarise Up2Give is just another Multi-Level-Marketing based company that plays on the idea of cash gifting.

They use the cryptocurrency bitcoin which is how you will buy your way in and pay them.

There isn’t a product or service that they offer, all they have is a video explaining to you how they have a model that is revolutionary around helping other people with there causes.

So unlike MLMS, I have previously checked out in Farmasi Cosmetic and Young Living Essential Oils there is no actual product being advertised.

However, the bottom line is that no one will be earning money apart from the actual owners.

This is due to it all being based around recruiting which is why this makes Up2Give a scam pyramid scheme.

As the only way to make money is by bringing people into the company.

Who Is Jerry Lopez?

The founder of Up2Give while it was hard to find is Jerry Lopez.

You will see him appear in some of the videos however finding his name was too hard.

Along with Jerry joining the team of founders is Andreas Kartud.

Both of which have had experience with both MLM and Ponzi Schemes.

What Is The Point?

I spent about an hour on the site itself and my findings were very small because there is hardly anything about them on there.

You won’t find an about me page, and owners page, none of that, there is only brainwashing videos one after another.

There are so many of them who just say the same BS trying to brainwash you more.

But having watched them I didn’t learn that much from them.

From what I did learn was that you are basically signing up to something where you are cash gifting and hoping others will do the same (your referrals).

This is the part that is wrong, with other MLM’s you will be told to buy some kind of service or product, but none of that exists here.

It’s solely built on people sending each other money with others then replicating the same action.

How Do You Sign Up?

For the purpose of the review I thought I would do some extra digging by making an account.

Now the first thing you will need to know is that you won’t be able to join without having a referral.

This is because on the first page they ask you to find the sponsor who introduced you.

Since I had only heard about Up2Give by word of mouth I found someone’s username online and continued on.

I was then shown a page where I was shown even more videos about the company which was similar to videos on the homepage I had already watched.

However, what was interesting is that this was the first point in the process where I saw Jerry.

This was a 20-minute video which seems to be an old webinar where he talks about the idea of the company.

Having watched it he also goes over the idea of philanthropy and how he wants it to use that to become one of the biggest companies within that field.

However, I am watching this video and I can’t help but think that while he is being enthusiastic that the whole setup doesn’t work.

Even if Jerry was to turn this Up2Give into a successful company that the whole idea of giving and getting in return doesn’t correspond with what he’s saying in the videos.

Now moving back and once you have created an account you should see something like this.

A dashboard and some messages to encourage you to pay that $32 fee. This goes to whoever referred you to Up 2 Give.

As for other costs you will also need to pay $40 a month to keep your membership going. All payouts are issued in Bitcoin (BTC)

From the screenshot you can see there isn’t too much to do, and with no products or services to promote means that’s pretty much it.

Until you pay that fee, you can’t make money and people can’t start donating to your course.

But if I was to pay it the guys link I used would then get the commission and then it would be my job to bring in more people.

The cycle repeats itself with the end result being Jerry and his founders having all this money, without selling a single service.

The Up2Give Commission Plan

There is a commission plan in place and there is 6 total levels included where the higher you get the more givers will be donating to you.

Of course, in return, you will need to be giving to other people’s fundraisers.

Once you make it to level 6, you will be looking at some decent earnings, you will only need to be giving 10% at this point and you will have 64 people giving to you.

So as you can see you could potentially make money, but that is beside the point as it is still a solely based recruiting scam.

Why You Should Stay Away

1. Is It Really ‘Cash Gifting’?

Cash Gifting is the act of giving someone cash without expecting anything in return. Hence the word gift.

However, one thing I can’t get my head around is that by gifting cash and then expecting that amount and possibly more in return means there is no gifting going on.

In fact, it’s more the exact opposite.

This is why it baffles me on why the owners talk about how they revolutionizing the game.

2. Bait Membership Fee

You have to be careful with platforms like Up2Give as they will give you this relatively low fee to join.

Most will pay it and instantly regret it as they will find out only after what the company is about.

That will be the case here because you are essentially throwing away money which while isn’t much will add up.

There isn’t any services or programs that they offer its all

Is This Up2Give Scam Worth A Shot?

I don’t recommend Up 2 Give because it’s built on the purpose of new people recruiting others without an actual product being in place.

So for me, that is a slippery slope already as if you know that is basically Pyramid Scheme territory.

You are investing your money, $32 in this case on the hope that someone will do the same for you.

That doesn’t sound like crowdfunding to me that’s more giving with the incentive to get a return of investment.

So from checking out the company I am going to end this Up2Give review by saying not to bother as its not worth it.

There is some hype with this site and after Jerrys enthusiastic webinar its probably got a few people on board.

But once this dies down I would predict Up 2 Give to fall upon the wayside.

Now if you have gone on there site and even made an account I know that’s probably not what you want to hear.

That no only is the company dodgy but if you were to attempt to make money you would find it difficult.

But that’s MLMs for you anyway.

So let’s move on to the final part of the review where I talk about a business model that is here to stay.

A Business Model That Actually Works

So you will have schemes like this that butter you up and make it seem like its a revolutionary product and you can earn big time.

In reality not only are you chucking away that registration fee but it is also not a long term opportunity.

You have already seen above how they are still in there ‘early’ stages and that is months on from release.

Now the model I recommend is affiliate marketing is in 2020 that is where it is.

This consists of you making a website around a passion, building it out, and then monetizing by promoting affiliate programs.
