After seeing so much hype for this game, I decided to do my own Tree For Money app review.
The game itself was interesting enough created a few months ago, but due to more advertisements circling around promoting the game of late, there has been an increase in the users playing it.
With these advertisements, it’s been hard to ignore as there are many out there, and for many of them, they say you can make 100s of dollars. There was even one I came across a week ago where it showed some person holding up a cheque for $2,520.51.
However, for all, we know this could just be a paid actor or, even worse, just an image found online.
So with all this uncertainty with the app and with these seemingly fake payouts, today, I will set the record straight by letting you know if Tree For Money is a genuine making money app.
Tree For Money Review Summary

What Is Tree For Money?
Tree For Money is a tap and grow game where you can grow trees and, according to them, make money in the process. The adverts make the game look like one where you win huge sums of money, which is all a lie.
On the store, it looks like they are developed from Lilytyrellgo as that’s what it states; however, I wasn’t able to find any info on them and have also previously reviewed games under similar names. So already, it does seem a little shady.
Simple games like this one do have a reputation of doing well, and even though the only task users have is to tap on a screen.
How Does Tree For Money Work?
To start with Tree For Money, you will need to search up the game in the Google Play Store and install it on your phone. It seems like the game is available to everyone; however, there doesn’t seem to be a version for IOS.
One thing you will notice before you download it is that the game is still in early access. This has been the case for a few months. Developers take this option so that people can play the game before full release, but for these games where rewards are exchanged, it stops people from putting complaints.
Which is why it becomes a repetitive pattern as most of these apps don’t payout.
But anyway, once you have got the game, getting started, and playing is straightforward.
All you have to do is click on the screen. By doing this, you will earn purple cash.
At the top of the screen, there is a fill counter that, once filled, you will be able to make upgrades on the tree.
How To Make Money With Tree For Money?
Every time you make an upgrade, you will get a reward of either diamonds or PayPal cash. This seems to alternate.
However, what needs clearing up is that there are two different currencies. One carries no weight, whereas the other can has payouts associated with them.
When you tap on the tree, you will see money pop up. However, this is not money that can be withdrawn. If it were, it would be way too easy.
But when you do upgrade the tree, you should see something like this:
Other Features Of The Game
There are also a few other ways to earn, as you have the Lucky Spin, where you spin a wheel for prizes; however, again, you must watch an advert first.
This, along with the referral system, which is a feature of the game, with this, you get rewarded for inviting others to try out Tree For Money. In the referral section, you have a unique link you can share out, and once you have invited 100 friends, you can redeem $5.
If you invite another 650 people, you will get a further of $15.
How Do They Pay?
You have diamonds and cash that both can be redeemed for rewards.
For the diamonds, you can convert them into Google Play Vouchers, the minimum amount you must have is 120000, and that is for a $5 gift card. These also go up to $100. However the higher the reward, the more of these diamonds you need to redeem it.
The second way is by redeeming the PayPal cash you get. This can only be done once you reach $200. However, let me warn you that you aren’t guaranteed to receive it, nor is it a given you will earn enough for payment.
What You Need To Know About
1. Unreal Expectations
Before you have even downloaded the game, most users will have in their heads that they will win thousands of dollars. I can’t blame them since their advertising portrays this.
But what I don’t get is the fact they are showing people with significant amounts on a cheque which look and are fake. Apps weren’t designed for people to make lots of money, especially not from tapping the screen.
Which is why you see amounts of $2000+ for growing a virtual tree on a screen. You can see why people become skeptical of games like this one as it’s all unrealistic.
Another thing to add is that despite showing off these big amounts, the majority, if not them all, will never see any money. The threshold is $200. However, it’s pointless since eventually, Tree For Money will cut you off from earning any more.
You get the bonus on the first level of $25; however, it’s downhill from there.
2. Better Games Out There
If you can ignore the money aspect, that is hard since it’s why people are playing it, Tree For Money is a pointless game without any real goal.
Of course, you are growing trees, but for the most part, you are just tapping on a screen, and that’s it. The other features that I also mentioned earlier do bring something else for you to do with the wheel, but even then, it’s still very lackluster.
Essentially what I am getting at here is there are far better games to play out there that you will enjoy. A lot of the ones I review are designed around making people watch the ads, so as a result, you often see straightforward ones being developed.
I would love to get paid a couple of grand just for playing a game. However, the reality is it’s not in the tiniest bit possible even though Tree For Money make it seem like it is.
You can expect a game where you tap for eternity, maybe get towards the $200, but not close enough to ever get a payout. This means any time you decide to put into it will likely be in vain and will only help the developers get richer.
My advice would be if you haven’t already to drop the game and find a more enjoyable game or if your interested in earning money checking out one of these apps instead.
I hope this Tree For Money app review answered the questions you had on the game.
