Welcome to my Treasure Forest app review.
Now when it comes to making money it’s not always a relaxing process.
In fact to actually earn a decent amount of money online you often have to put in a lot of time and a lot of effort to get those kinds of rewards.
However when it comes to some money making games they seem to paint a different picture.
This being a fantastic painting, showing that you can play a game for a couple of minutes and earn a sizable income.
Well, in comes Treasure Forest, a game that claims you can make money and get seemingly easy cash outs.
By watching the advert, it basically portrays that playing this game will be as easy as printing money.
Just like that old saying where they say money doesn’t grow on trees with this game they seem to make it look like that is actually the case.
But here’s the thing does this game actually pay out or will you find yourself waiting at the bottom of some oak waiting for cash?
Within this post we break this down, and uncover it all!

What Is Treasure Forest?
So what is the Treasure Forest app?
Well it’s a money making game that’s idle based that claims you can make money easily through simply tapping on a tree.
In fact, a few years ago I came across a surge of money making games that were all revolving around trees.
Ones such as Shake Shake Tree and Tree Fish Farm were huge back in the day.
These all implied that simply tapping on a screen over and over and over again can be a difference between you making zero and tens of thousands of dollars.
However ultimately what I found out to be the case of each of these games is that there was a bit more to it than they initially promoted via their ads.
So that is why I had my guard up with this game Treasure Forest as with the way it’s promoting itself it looks like it might follow suit.
Now in terms of the owners, the people behind Treasure Forest aren’t the same as those old tree games I played in the past.
In fact this one is actually owned by a company called Moondrop.
Now I say company because that is the name that comes up within the app store.
However, there isn’t much information online that tells you much about Moondrop.
All you know is that they have an advert that claims you can make money through tapping on some tree and that you’re able to then cash out all the money that has dropped off it.
It sounds so easy, but as is sometimes the case with many opportunities online, there is more to it than meets the eye.
So let’s get into how it actually works.
How Does Treasure Forest Work?
Now loading up Treasure Forest, you may actually encounter an ad straight after opening up the game.
This is never a great sign but it almost makes it clear the true intentions of the app already without you even playing at all.
Now once you’re actually in and you’re shown the main screen of the game, you kind of get the familiar look that you may have seen within the advert.
You see PayPal icons, Amazon icons, as well as instructions on how to play the game.
Telling you to click on the tree to grab some money and also upgrade your tree.
Now doing this simple act is what’s going to immediately get the ball rolling.
Enablying that flow of PayPal money and Amazon money within the game to come to you.
My Earning Experience
Now for myself and my own experience after a few times of clicking on this tree I was also able to collect a $118.40 PayPal virtual currency payout.
Which I was able to collect and put towards a $1000 gift card which is the pay-out threshold present on the app. Something I will touch upon more in later sections of this Treasure Forest app review.
After claiming this payout you’ll be shown the payout screen.
This basically gives you the details on how much money you need to make in order to cash out and how much time you have left to reach the amount.
That is because they have a timed threshold in place meaning that anything that you get within the first 24 minutes of playing is immediately sent to your PayPal account.
However, that is what they’re getting you to think is the case.
So if you’re like me and you’re in a position where you have a $118.40 then you may be thinking.
Wait, all I need to do is play for another 10 minutes or even 15 minutes to get the extra $900 to cash out.
As at the end of the day getting $118 was pretty easy.
So surely getting the rest will be a piece of cake, surely?
Other Ways You Can Earn
Now in regards to other areas of the game you will also be able to collect Amazon vouchers of high amounts.
In fact the first Amazon voucher that was credited to me was $1,667.02.
Again reinforcing the idea that you’ll be able to accumulate huge amounts as you carry on playing the game.
As for actually playing the game and the actual aspects of it there is various special features.
This consists of material where once activated by watching an advert you can double every amount that you get.
You also have various different incentives in place where you can finish a three-day task to win $1,000 level 3, rain 3 times and manure 5 times on day 1 in order to get your first bonus.
There is also a daily reward section where you can pick up an Amazon voucher or a PayPal voucher for every day that you’d get while tapping the tree.
Earning Or Spending?
Now there are a few areas to this game that you do want to be a little bit cautious of and the first aspect is the in-app purchases.
Now these games like to make it clear that you won’t have to pay a single cent while playing the game and that all the money that’s going somewhere is only going to you.
However with a shop on Treasure Forest called VIP subscription you can pay £9.49 for no ads, an Amazon outlet VIP, $200 free PayPal.
Which for the money anyway is probably not even worth it considering how much money they give away for doing nothing.
Here you can also buy tickets into the raffle starting at £1.51 for one and £15.86 for 18 tickets.
There’s also an option to pay for the removal of ads which is £3.31.
Going off what these apps like to claim though I wouldn’t be surprised if even if you did buy the no ads in-app purchase that you may still get ads anyway because these games do like to lie.
Conclusion
In conclusion I think Treasure Forest is an okay game to play.
It’s focus on money earning is quite concerning as every action you do within the game is put towards earning virtual currency.
However, this would be completely fine if the game was to pay out but there just doesn’t seem to be any signs that your efforts tapping on this tree over and over and over again is going to get you the desired outcomes of hundreds of dollars of PayPal vouchers and thousands of dollars of Amazon vouchers.
Along with that the advert made many claims and one of them was that you can cash out very easily.
However that doesn’t seem to be the case with any payments that you request going straight into pending with no money instantly paid out to you.
So if you’re looking for an app or game that’s going to pay I’m always interested to hear about your experiences with different money making games and apps, so feel free to share your experiences and whether or not you’ve found success with these sorts of apps.
