Welcome to my Toloka app review.
With times being tough, it’s only natural that many people worldwide are now turning to the internet to make some form of income.
From doing some browsing, you will find many opportunities both in the app store and on the desktop, and today’s app is an example of one.
Now for Toloka, there were a few things that intrigued me right off the bat.
Firstly the app claims to pay you to do small tasks from your phone or desktop, which sounds perfect and will suit many people.
The second aspect that caught my eye is how the owners market it as an opportunity that requires no investment.
Now, generally speaking, with any legitimate service, you should not have to pay anything to make money with it.
GPT apps are all about you volunteering your time to make a bit cash, which means that there is some time investing involved.
But what your likely wondering now is whether this one is worth the time and if you can cash out easily by doing the tasks that Toloka has on offer.
Well, stick around until the end to hear the answers to your questions on therm as well as my overall verdict.

Toloka App Review Summary

- What Are They?:
- My Worth It Rating: 3/5
What Is Toloka?
Now Toloko is an app that pays you to complete small tasks on your phone.
While you can compare it to GPT sites or opportunities where you do surveys, I found more similarities to Amazon’s Mechanical Turk program.
That is because the tasks are the kind which computers aren’t able to complete at the moment.
So you will have ones where you are sorting out data, submitting photos and videos, transcribing and that kind of thing.
They are owned by an internet company called Yandex which is Russian based.
Signing Up To Toloka
After a nice welcome to the app, you will be happy to know that making an account is quite easy after loading.
You must follow a few steps, but it’s nothing that takes a lot of time to do and in total should take you around 2 or 3 minutes.
To start with, you must create a Yandex ID. If you have an account, already you can sign in.
If not, you can press the white register button to start the process or one of the social media icons at the bottom.
You will need to put in your name, age, location, etc.
After that, you will need to verify your number by putting in a code sent to you via SMS.
How Do You Earn From Yandex Toloka
After you have been allocated a username, you are free to start using the app to earn money.
By clicking on the available tab, you will see the tasks that you can complete.
The first one at the top, as you can see above, will be a survey where you tell them a bit about you.
This is to help Toloka get to know you better to know what to send your way.
While this is a task-focused opportunity, you will find that this is a standard procedure of most survey type websites.
If you continue to scroll down, you will see further tasks, which may be different to the ones you see above.
One last thing that Yandex have noted is that you should only request a payment from a source that you have an account for and is supported in your country.
Toloka Referral Program
Additionally, to just completing tasks yourself, you can also make money while others do it for you instead.
With the referral program, Toloka users can get paid a percentage of the earnings made by mates, paid to you by bonuses.
The idea sounds great, and almost all GPT websites have referral programs active.
However, I found with this one that it is a little complicated to understand at first.
Since the bonus percentage isn’t equal for each country, you will find yourself getting more when referring certain people over others.
There is also a degree of loyalty with this referral system.
Those who have had higher reward amounts in previous years will get higher percentages, allowing them to earn more.
The range, though, is between 5% and 20%.
How Do Toloka Pay?
When you are ready to cash out your earnings with Toloka, you can do so by heading to the My Money page.
You can do this both on the app and on the desktop version of the site.
There are four withdrawal options available to you, including PayPal, Skrill, Payoneer, and Yoomoney.
So if you want to be getting paid straight in cash, you have four ways to received that money.
Now what was interesting for me was not the way they paid but the thresholds in place.
As if you go for either PayPal or Yoomoney, you can withdraw from just 2 cents.
Skrill is a little higher at $1, with Payoneer needing at least $20.
However, for someone who wants to earn quick, you have the confidence knowing that you can get paid right after doing a task.
What You Need To Know About
1. Investing Time Instead Of Money
While Toloka makes it clear, you don’t have to invest any money from the get-go, which should be the case anyway.
You do still need to invest something, and that is time.
With any money earning opportunity, I do think it’s important to evaluate whether or not it’s worth your time or not.
That is because while there are plenty of legit ways to earn, not each way will give you good value.
In this case, I found that many of the tasks that Toloka have are quite easy to complete.
I found several tasks where you’re just uploading a screenshot of something or just answering literally a few questions.
However, despite how easy some tasks maybe, you are getting cents for your time.
Which depending on what you are looking to gain might not be what you are looking for.
Cents will certainly add up if you are doing several tasks. However, if you want to be earning even $100 a month, it’s apparent early on that will not be the case with Toloka.
2. A lot Of Low Paying Tasks
What was good to see is that I already had tasks I could register for within seconds of registering an account.
However, while that may seem like there is plenty of money to make almost from the get-go, it is certainly not the case.
Like the Amazon Turks program I linked to earlier, how you earn with an opportunity like this is by dedicating a lot of your time to it.
That is because, for simple tasks, I found that you could only earn between $0.01 and $0.10.
You will see some that pay close to the dollar mark, though they do look to be few and far between.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I believe that not only is Toloka legit, but it’s a solid way for you to earn money in your spare time.
The big attraction of opportunities like this is you have the freedom of doing it wherever you are.
You could do it at home when you have some spare time, or you could even do it on your daily commute to work.
As long as you have an internet connection, an account with the payout option they support and a device you can connect to, you are good to go.
With that said, it’s always worth bearing in mind, as I spoke about in the previous section, the earning potential.
You won’t become rich, and you will for sure not make a full time or part-time from using this app on its own.
So make sure you go into it with realistic expectations, as that is the only mindset you can have with apps like this.
If you want to get that extra value for your time, I would highly recommend this platform here.
It teaches you how to make recurring money each month, in the 4 to 5 figure mark with fail.
You also have the option of joining apps like Toloka up with other apps that pay you to simple tasks on your phone to give you even more income.
Closing Off
As always, I do hope this Toloka app review was helpful for you.
Have you tried them out? Have you received a payment from them?
I would be keen to hear your experiences with the app and find it easy or hard to earn with them.
