Tap Pics App Review

Tap Pics App Review: Earn $260+?

Welcome to my Tap Pics app review!

Just recently, I came across this game that says you can make money by filling in pictures.

It looks like all you need to do is pick out pictures, color it in, and voila, a load of money comes your way.

In fact, the advert shows one person filling in 5 pictures and getting paid $250.

That’s not even the worst part.

The person was also getting $20 for every tap.

While watching this, I had a hard time believing that this was true.

With that said, I know the reason you are here, and that is to find out whether Tap Pics is legit and if by filling in pictures with colors, you can really make some money.

Tap Pics App Review Summary

  • Owner: Wowcheater
  • What Are They?: Colouring Game
  • My Worth It Rating: 3/5

What Is Tap Pics?

Tap Pics is a game where you are given several pictures to color in, and for each one, you fill in with colors the game claims to reward you for it.

Now while I don’t too much of it anymore, coloring is something I enjoy.

However, I tell you, I have a hard time believing someone would pay me three figures to do it.

There are artists out there that sell their artwork and make money, so of course, it is possible to make a career and a good income along with it.

Tap Pics, though, is a game where you are number coloring.

It’s like a coloring book you would find at the kid’s section in a book store. It features different unfilled pictures with number code indicating which colors to use for each part.

The app was created by wowcheater, and the installs for it have seen a big rise, going up to 100k installs.

How Does Tap Pics Work?

Tap Pics has I spoken about an app filled with different photos you will be coloring in.

On each photo, you will see numbers like shown in the picture below:

Example of a drawing

At the bottom, you will see what numbers are associated with each color.

It will switch to the color by tapping on these so you can add it to the photo.

As you color in the photos, you will be able to see your progress.

The fill counter at the top shows you the percentage of the photo that you have completed.

You will see how much of that color you still need to fill in on the colors themselves.

If you fill in, for example, all of 1, which is red, then the color will disappear from the bottom.

This will leave you with the ones you are yet to finish fully.

If you are nearly finished but can’t find the remaining spaces to color in, you can use the hints.

How Do You Make Money Filling In?

Money is given to you when you complete color sets.

As I said above, after you finish filling in all the areas of one color/number, it will disappear.

But along with that, you get a small bonus which you can also double.

Here is the first one I got and the amount you can expect to receive frequently at first.

Making money playing Tap Pics

You don’t get the bonus message every time.

So you could complete two colors in a row, getting a few dollars for it each time, but then the next time, you get nothing.

All in all, it is quite random when they reward their users.

How Do They Pay?

You can find the terms for payouts under the PayPal icon.

It seems really straightforward, as all it states is that you need to get $100 to cash out.

Tap Pics cash out

As you can see, it also says ‘you’re almost there!’.

Now interestingly, it says this from the moment you open the game up.

So even before they have sent you a cent, they say you are close to payout.

It is weird because they are making it look like you will get to the amount needed soon.

However, as I found out playing the game, after every time you get paid for completing a color, the amount decreases.

At the start, I got $4.44 for each bonus. However, as soon as I reached the $50 mark, the amount I was getting halved.

That may seem much lower.

But I can guarantee that playing longer will only result in less money.

Chances are most users will be getting cents or even nothing at all by the time they get to the $90 mark.

So the irony is that you will never be almost there, as it’s almost a sure thing that users won’t make the threshold.

Conclusion

While it’s definitely not as good as filling in pictures in an actual book, Tap Pics is close to it and fun at first to play.

The problems with this game don’t lie with the pictures but the misleading adverts, portraying something completely different from what you find in the game.

There are quite a few problems with the advert.

To start with, the user is getting paid $20 per fill in when in reality, the most you get in the game is $4, and even then, that number decreases over time.

Tap Pics also mislead people with the amounts you can earn.

It seems apparent from this advert too that you can make a couple of hundred bucks. They even say you can legally cash out to PayPal.

However, it is so obvious that it isn’t possible to do so.

The diminishing rewards mean that no one will get to $100, let alone the $260 in the advert.

Reaching $260

Ultimately this game is looking to take advantage of those who want to make some money from the comfort of their phone. It is possible to do so, but you can’t make such amounts from a drawing game like this one.

Recommendation

Maybe you are here after hearing about the game, or you are because you have been stuck on an amount of money for days.

Let me tell you I hear you, and the reason for that is I was once misled by one of these games.

I spent hours of my time trying to withdraw.

However, it all proved to be nothing.

The truth is you can earn money playing games.

You need to be careful with which ones you pick.

What I have found are the ones that make the unbelievable claims are those that are not genuine like this one.

Here on my site, I have reviewed tons of games, including legit ones, and here I have made a list of all the games I have found to payout.

Feel free to check them out if you are looking to earn using your phone.

You can also take a look at my go-to rewards sites and apps that are great in 2021.

Before I leave you, I want to say that there are many games out there that will take advantage of you.

This is why I recommend that you do your research before you put time into it.

If you learn that lots of people aren’t getting paid from a said app, then you can save a lot of time by not going through the same thing as them.
