Welcome to my Survey Spotter review.
I’ve never really disliked surveys despite what many people say about the industry.
It can be hard to earn a lot of money, but making a little extra each month is more than possible, especially in my experience.
Recently I came across an ad where it says I can make £300+ a month completing paid surveys, and this is from a company called Survey Spotter.
They also claim you can get £5 for each survey you complete, which initially sounds excellent. However, how much of this is true.
That is something I wondered, so I thought I would check them out further and write a review on them.
Here I will be talking about what the company is about, can you even make money and whether or not earning £300 is also possible.
So stick around for the next few minutes as I go through it all.

Survey Spotter Review Summary
- Owner: Survey Spotter

How Does Survey Spotter Work?
Now firstly, what you will need to know is how exactly does Survey Spotter work.
They are a site often referred to as a survey aggregator that gets paid by market research companies to promote them.
On the main page, they say that they have one of the largest selection of surveys in the UK.
In turn, this will allow you to get access to the panels who want to hear your opinions.
For any business to work, you need to have a business model in place, and this is something Survey Spotter has taken advantage of.
They have made a site where people can join survey panels directly through there links.
How Do I Start Earning?
To clear up survey spotter is not a survey panel that you can sign in to and start making money with.
When you head to their site, what you are greeted with is a sign-up form where you are encouraged to put in your details.
This is standard information being in your name and email address, as well as your date of birth.
Now by completing this, you aren’t signing up to them you are going to the next step of finding a panel for you.
On the next page, you will be shown a selection of survey sites you can join.
Now what they suggest in order to make £300 a month that you sign up to all.
However, you can go through each one and choose the ones you like the look of.
You may recognize a number of these companies and that is because they are established.
These consist of:
- Toluna Influencers
- YouGov
- Inbox Pounds
- LifePoints
- 20 Cogs
- Maximiles
- PureProfile
- Swagbucks
- Opinion Outpost
- Market Agent
So if there is something that I like about them already is that they’re not promoting scams.
Any you do sign up to you can make money with.
How Much Can You Really Make Completing Surveys
I think Survey Spotter do a good job of not misleading their users.
They could easily say you could make thousands of pounds like other scams I’ve seen in the past.
However, £300 a month is reasonable and doable.
If there is one misleading thing, then it’s the 5 pounds per survey they say you can earn; you can get them; however, they are hard to come by.
Each survey site has different rates when it comes to how much they payout per survey.
The amount you can expect is £0.50/£2, and that is just from my experience.
Surveys are low-paying generally, so don’t rely on this way to bring in a sustainable income every month, as you won’t be able to.
Why I Am A Fan Of Survey Spotter
1. They Are Truthful With There Claims
Survey Spotter could easily say you could earn thousands by completing paid surveys, but they don’t, and this is where they deserve respect from me.
As I said, I have come across other survey aggregators in the past that promise you so much.
So to see one that is promoting survey panels while giving you accurate expectations is good to see.
2. Survey Panels Are Ok
Earlier in the review, I said who they promote, and within them, you may recognize a few of them, well these are legit sites, all of them.
So if you do sign up, you will be able to earn money doing surveys.
What I would say though is Survey Spotter will sign you up to whichever ones you choose, but I would say go to the sites themselves and do the registration yourself.
I’ve never been keen on third party companies doing that, so not only is it better, you do it your end, but you get to see what you’re getting into.
Why I Am Not A Fan Of Survey Spotter
1. Mostly Doing It For There Own Gain
Every business needs a motive for doing things and Survey Spotter definitely have there’s.
You may not know this but how it works is every time you join one of their partners they will get a commission each time.
So if you do what they advise and that goes with each one, then, as a result, they will receive a nice commission.
2. You Won’t Benefit By Going Through There Site
Again another thing I don’t like is the idea of going through these sites. I mean it is a little pointless, yes you are shown legit sites but you aren’t told much about them.
If they were reviewing them and showing you pros and cons for them then that’s different, however here you aren’t getting that much information.
For me anyway, I want to know as much about a company before I get involved, you basically have to go on their say and trust their word.
Now to be fair they aren’t an outright scam like WiredBucks or Wolf Points as you could make money if you go through their funnel.
Ultimately though it’s not worth it.
3. You May Not Earn £300 Despite Being Realistic
They may be being realistic but earning £300 is not easy especially if you’re new to surveys.
How do I know this?
Because I did surveys for years a while ago.
I thought if I could make X amount every day then that’s X amount each month.
However it doesn’t work like that, some days you may get £10 or more, and some you may get £1 if that.
This is one of the reasons why I now only do surveys part-time instead of the full-time I was focusing on before. As of now I realize that the amount you earn isn’t in your control.
I’m not putting down surveys though as I recommend them if you want to earn some extra cash.
It’s just when you try to earn more than that, you will likely struggle.
If you really want to make £300 a month, you can do that much more easily by making an online business or starting up your own website
Is Survey Spotter A Scam?
No, Survey Spotter is not a scam and is a legitimate site for recommending survey sites to people.
Some may argue that it is misleading as it looks like you are making money with them, however as you have now learned they are an aggregator, not an actual panel.
Despite them being legit, I wouldn’t recommend them as you can find these panels without going through their site.
My #1 Survey Site?
Any newbie can make money completing surveys however choosing the right sites is a crucial step.
Put, a vast majority either are time wasters or don’t offer many opportunities.
If you end up signing up for one that isn’t great, you will find it a headache to earn anything.
I have had a lot of experience with surveys, so do know ones that will earn you money.
The first one that comes to my head based on my success is Swagbucks.
There is also Branded Surveys that offers a great range of paid surveys too,
You also have this range of opportunities you can try for anyone in the UK plus these side hustles to get your teeth into too.
Definitely worth checking out as they have plenty of ways to make money
