Are you sick of apps that say you can earn lots of free money with minimal effort?
Well, I am and that’s because all the ones I have tried up to now have been lies.
However, it doesn’t stop me from reviewing these apps as new ones are popping up all over the place.
And honestly, I can’t ignore apps like this which are doing so well at the moment.
If anything it makes me want to review them so I can save more people from losing there precious time.
So today I am going to expose Quizdom and tell you why you shouldn’t waste your time.

What Is Quizdom About?
Quizdom is an app on the appstore that claims to pay people to answer trivial quiz questions.
Its quite similar to Knife Bounty app which is also a game where the claim is that you can play for free and get money at the same time.
The company that develop the app is based in Hong Kong, China and it has been made available worldwide.
The app itself as been about for over 3 years but because of a recent surge in free cash opportunities Quizdom as been doing really well recently.
To give you an idea of its success it has grown more in 2019 then in the previous two years put together.
Right now they have 10 million installs which is a significant as not every app hits 7 figures on the market.
The concept isn’t uncommon either as I have also reviewed apps along the same lines in:
How Do You Get Started?
The app is free apart from the optional membership that I will talk about later on.
But downloading it and completing quizzes requires you to spend nothing.
On startup, you are not encouraged to make an account like you would have to with other apps. Instead, you can jump right in.
You will first be taken through a tutorial of the app, and this includes completing your first quiz.
You may be thinking that it’s cool they want to get you started. However, I am looking at it from the other side as completing this was a nightmare.
That was because I was shown at least four ads in a 20 question logo quiz. Some would say that it is over the top and I would agree.
How To Make Money With Quizdom?
You will be making money through chest roulettes which you can achieve by completing levels of the games.
So when you complete the quizzes, you may at the end be rewarded with a chest with the chance to win cash.
To unlock it, you will need to proceed and watch a short ad.
If you win any cash, it will be credited to you, which you will get towards cashing out.
If you win coins, you will also get this and can then be used on the games but not to get rewards.
Now one of the problems here is that people are making more money in the first few days that they then do in the following months.
So they entice you and make it easy to get cash to reel you in.
However, the more you play, the less money you get and the more you are likely to win coins if anything (a useless currency).
Quizdom Payout
Once you have accumulated $10 you will be able to ask for a payment. They claim to pay through PayPal and through various gift cards of retailers.
The only problem is that there is no record of people reaching this stage to get paid.
Diamond Membership
The most controversial aspect of the app is the addition of the diamond membership.
What this includes is 500 coins per day, all levels unlocked, the removal of ads, spins.
Now earlier I missed out this part so I can talk about it now.
Looking across you will see a screenshot, this is what you get once the app loads up.
Now, this isn’t very good for two reasons:
- People are purchasing it because they think they need it to make money.
- The only transactions should be money coming to you not you paying them.
As you can see, there are two options for you. The main one is billed yearly so you will be paying $95 for a year.
The other option is the monthly one coming in at $12.99 per month.
It doesn’t matter which one you go for, users are being taken advantage here as the price doesn’t justify the amount there charging.
Should users need to pay $100 for no ads and just a few coins, also why would people want to spend that amount on unlocking all the levels. I’m sure that defeats the object of the game.
As you may have guessed, unfortunately, people are being charged for doing the three trial and then forgetting to cancel it.
What I Am A Fan Off
1. Fun, Aside From The Spammy Nature
I did a few of the quizzes, and if I ignored the ads, it would be an enjoyable game.I managed to complete a few, and some did test my knowledge which is why I can see that many would like it for that reason alone.
2. Free To Download
Now if I am frank, I’m not sure if this is a pro or a con as many join intending to make money.
Yes, we talked about how it can potentially be fun; however, with no users getting paid, it feels more like the word ‘free’ is bait.
Here’s a free app that offers a way to earn but you won’t actually make anything.
What I Am Not A Fan Off
1. Gets Slower The More You Play
One of the most reoccurring themes of not only these kinds of free to play games but of there reviews is how making money gets harder.
Not everyone can make money with millions of installs, that would put them out of pocket.
However, it’s as clear as daylight that Quizdom has put a system in place to cap how much a user can make.
I actually find it false that at the start you are given money to get your hopes up.
Then when you realise hold up, I could get some extra cash here however as you use it more you realise that’s not what’s going on here.
2. Very Frustrating With Ads
Completing levels is made difficult because for each level you need to endure at least 2 or 3 minutes of ads.
You wouldn’t mind a few, but when you go a few questions without one, you know any time now you will need to watch one of there sponsors.
Part of it understanding that it is how Quizdom works and makes its money, but you can’t help but think that turning the regularity of these down would improve many peoples experience of the app.
If you don’t mind ads, then you might be okay, however, if you are like me you will most likely run out of patients fast.
3. Why Is There A Membership?
The obvious answer is its a way for Quizdom to bring in more revenue; however, it goes against the point of the app.
It’s supposed to be a no-cost app where users can get free rewards. But if users are encouraged to use there own money, what is the actual point of it.
It kind of blows your mind how much these guys are really conning people here.
The option for extra coins and the removal of ads is voided because people aren’t benefiting financially with the app.
Now people need to be very careful here as they don’t make it clear how much the membership costs.
The first thing you see is a three-day trial.
However, if you read the small print, it says it will bill you $94.99 for a year. £85.99 if you are from the UK like me.
Now bear in mind that no users are making $10, this means you are purchasing from them and getting nothing back.
Plus this is there to get as many people to fall for the free trial as possible.
After that and if they forget to cancel their subscription, that is where the company will rake in lots of its money.
4. Negative Reviews
Something that baffles me is the 4.5 out of 5-star rating, now that is regarded as high.
However, I wanted to delve deeper into the reviews. People are rating this high, yet there is no evidence of people getting paid.
So with 10 million+ installs you would think at least one PayPal payment proof had surfaced the internet.
Looking at these reviews, the pattern I see is this.
The ones rating it well are people who love playing the game, it seems there not too fussed about the earning aspect as you can see below.
The game as enjoyable elements
On the other hand, the second-highest-rated vote is ‘1’, and these are from people who are frustrated with not making money.
I also noticed that most of these followed along the same lines. Check this out though some of the user’s reviews.
This user believes the app is rigged.
Not able to earn more than $9 when the threshold is so close.
5. The Support Is Shocking
With any making money opportunity out there, having a support team is compulsory.
You need someone to talk to if anything goes wrong. Every site I have tried has one look at Inbox Dollars and Usercrowd for e.g.
I have come to the conclusion that either Quizdoms team have gone for a walk or gone a very long vacation as users are getting nothing back.
People are trying to contact them and worryingly are hearing nothing.
I also checked the app store and generally if there are complaints the developers reply to them to help them out.
However, as you may have guessed, there is no movement from there end.
I lose faith straightaway with apps that don’t have a support team, but my faith with this one went a long time ago.
Is Quizdom Legit?
You may be thinking I went in too hard on Quizdom, but the fact is they misleading people into grinding a game that is impossible to win at.
There are no payment proofs that they pay so unless one comes my way I will be labelling Quizdom a scam.
Now I frown upon the making money hype with this app, but if we tuck it to one side for a second, I would say the game isn’t too bad — however its unplayable with the stoppages.
My advice is not to waste your time if you’re looking to Quizdom as a way to make money.
If you want a game to play there are literally millions of them and finding a game that offers a fun experience shouldn’t be too hard to seek out.
Use Your Wisdom And Don’t Download Quizdom
Now that I have given you all the knowledge you need to know about this app I’m sure you will make the best decision now.
Before I end off here, I would like to share with you some opportunities that you can take advantage of to make money.
These sites pay you to do all kinds of things from downloading games to watching videos.
Basically, they all do a better job in all the aspects that Quizdom fails at.Anyway, I will leave a link to these reward sites right here.
Also, come back to this post, letting me know how you get on with them.
That brings us to the end of this Quizdom app review.
