Today I have a Poker Master app review.
That is because I was doing some scrolling through earning apps when I came across this promising game.
Many people like card-themed games and getting cash, so when you combine the two, you have an app that works.
This is likely what the people over at XM Studio were thinking when making this game.
However, like it says in the description, can you have some fun while also getting lucky with some rewards simultaneously.
I will give you the answer in this post, so make sure to read until the end to find out if the game is any good and whether they will actually give you these bonuses out.

Poker Master App Review Summary
- Owner: XM Studio
- What Are They?: Poker Game
- My Worth It Rating: 2/5
What Is Poker Master?
Initially, it does look like Poker Master is all about playing poker and earning bonuses as you play.
But from trying the game, I quickly found that it’s more about merging cards.
This makes sense since the game of Poker isn’t the easiest to pick up, so if the developers were to go with the proper version, many users would either get confused or bored.
So instead, what you have here is very similar to Chip Master and 2048 Cards, where you combine items to make greater values.
Unlike Poker, you can grasp the concept in minutes, and because of that, it’s great to monetize for companies like XM Studio as people are likely to stick with it.
Now the people behind it have a done a good job of promoting it. The game only went live midway through April and had 100 thousand installs.
The downside, though, is the reviews, which stand at 2.2 stars out of 5. I will discuss these later on and explain why they are so low.
How To Play Poker Master?
With Poker Master, when you launch it up, you will see an interesting opening screen.
You have the green button that will take you to the game itself.
But you will also have some interesting features, including the Lucky Spin and the Prize Center.
They also straight away show you the cash, with a white hand pointing to it.
This section at the top left of the screen is where any of the bonuses you earn will be added to.
Next to that, you have the coins, which also have the equivalent worth in cents beside it too.
The game plays like a setting in a casino.
A dealer you can’t see will pull out a card to sort out into piles.
Now all you need to do is join up the same number cards together.
So, for instance, if you had placed a 3 of spades and was then given a 3 of aces.
You would try to join them up by dropping it into that aisle.
There are 5 isles in total, and like Tetris, if you run out of room, you must use a tool or start again.
How To Earn Money With Poker Master?
As you play the game, whether merging the cards or even signing up, you will have bonus money added to your title.
Below is a picture of the login bonuses. These appear when you log in for the first time each day.
It starts quite big, and when you come back on the seventh day, you can collect $500.
What’s crazier is the fact that cumulatively $1550 is there to be collected.
And since you don’t have to play the game to get any of these amounts, it does point towards them not actually giving you them.
The second way is by merging the cards as spoken about in the previous section.
Doing this will give you random amounts sporadically.
So if you play for a minute or two, you will get pop-ups like this, where apparently you have earned $47.34.
After I merged a few cards, this was issued and only took me about 2 minutes to be awarded.
The fact that the developers are trying to make me believe after only playing a game that I should get this amount shows you they won’t pay.
How Do They Pay?
There is a minimum threshold of $200 for cash rewards, which it looks like users can easily surpass.
Most games will make it a hard task to get to the minimum threshold, but for Poker Master, you don’t even have to play the game.
You only need to log in for a few days, and that should just about do it.
But because it is so easy, it does mean there it really isn’t.
It’s not going to be a situation where you turn a game on for a minute on different days and cash out 3 figures.
No games work like this because if they did, the owners would be chucking away money away.
So what I am getting the impression that XM Studio doesn’t actually mind you getting money.
Even if it means letting you reach the threshold.
However, I would bank on the developers not paying anyone out, and with a review rating of 2.2, it does look to be the case.
What Are People Saying About Poker Master
For a game that doesn’t pay out, a rating that isn’t in the 1’s seems quite generous.
However, what is very important to remember is that users of games like this tend to leave high scores.
In the hope that the developers will see it and maybe pay them out for giving them good feedback.
To give you a few examples, check this feedback out:
This user has left a 5-star review, however along it has called it a bad app.
Also stated, as you can see, is that there is no real money.
This is completely true since they wouldn’t be able to give the amounts there claiming.
Let’s have a look at another one.
This user has given the most stars like the previous one.
But from reading what they have to say, it looks like they haven’t received anything yet.
They have played Poker Master and earned cash within the game.
However, using words like ‘hope’ means they have no clue if these developers even payout or not.
Collecting Other Rewards
At the start of the Poker Master app review, I mentioned that on the main menu, there are other features.
One of them includes the prize centre, where you supposedly earn really good items.
However, this feature is as fake as the bonus money they give out.
Here they try to get you to believe that you can win 85 inch TV’s, phones, watches and more.
In fact, even if you choose to concentrate on the game, they will send these items across the game.
Like you see in the image below:
This is to entice you to click on it, but you will have to watch a video if you even accidentally go on it.
If you do collect it, you will receive a puzzle piece but not the actual reward.
After all, you will not be sent a $1000+ TV for tapping on a screen.
The interesting part about the prize centre is that it’s even more rigged.
That is because while you may be able to get to the $200 mark, you will likely never collect the number of puzzles required.
It is designed to keep you chasing, which helps them earn more money.
Conclusion
If someone had shown me Poker Master years ago, chances are I would think of fell for it all.
The money at every turn and the section that has the fanciest gadgets really does entice you in.
To the point where it could brainwash you if you don’t know any better.
Everything you see, though, isn’t real. It’s essentially baiting.
But because people want to win this stuff badly, they will still try anyway.
Now, as you have read, this game makes earning look too easy, to the point where it’s a very inaccurate portrayal of how easy it is to earn.
I not only discourage anyone to play it because of that, but it’s just not worth anyone’s time, especially with actual genuine opportunities out there.
So while you may not be counting your chips, you can still earn money doing relatively simple tasks online using easy to use apps like these.
