What Is PingPong?
PingPong is a testing website that pays you to complete different tests from home. They connect with brands worldwide who are looking for feedback on their products.
Now what they offer isn’t just website testing like you would find with others such as Usertesting, as along with testing websites and services online, you can also get paid to try apps on mobile.
The brands that they work with are established ones of which you will likely recognize them.
For me, living in the UK, I noticed BT as one of the brands they mentioned, but they also work with DropBox, TransferWise, TomTom, and Zapier.
As with every testing site out there for it to work, you need researchers, so two different people can benefit.
If you want to test other people’s ideas, you can get paid to do that, if you’re going to have the tools and access to users to come and test your ideas you can also do that too.
Getting Started
At the moment, they currently have over 40’000 testers signed up.
The majority of them are from the UK; the next largest userbases are the US and Germany.
However, despite that and the demographic requirements on other testing sites, this one is available worldwide.
The only three things you will need are an internet connection, laptop/computer, and a webcam.
Chances are though that you will only need two as most computers do come with a camera built-in.
To make an account, though, you have two options.
That is to fill in the details, which include your email and country, or you can join using your Google account.
On the next page, you will need to spend around 5 minutes filling in some background info.
That includes your job, PayPal email address so that they can pay you, gender, age, etc.
How Does Ping Pong Work?
Now that you have your account set up, you will now need to wait for Ping Pong to match your details with relevant studies for you.
So if your like me and just made an account, then you will likely have no studies pop up to you right away.
However, once they do come in, you will get an email inviting you to an email. During this interview and while doing the task, you will need to share the screen so that that the interviewer can learn from how you use their service.
During the interview, you will also be asked some questions about your experience and to also get feedback back.
The amount of money you can earn from each test depends on the length. Typically for a short one of 20 minutes, you can make $20; however, if you do a 40-minute study, then you will receive $40.
Now how you get even more money is that the research may invite you to more studies, where you can then earn between $80 and $100.

What I Am A Fan Off

It’s not too often that you see testing websites available to anyone as most of the time, the testing company only works with people from selected countries.
What this means is that therefore only people who are from those places can then sign up and complete the studies.
But since they work all over the world with different brands, you are also going to get invited to studies regardless of your location. That is why Ping Pong stood out for me as its inclusive.
2. Payout Well
I know you aren’t getting paid on an hourly basis like a normal job, but $20 for only 20 minutes of work is decent.
Not only that, but the work you are doing also is not strenuous, and you are getting compensated well for participating in their tests.
There are plenty of jobs out there that don’t even pay a rate like that for an hour’s work, so I would say that signing up to Ping Pong is worth it.
Especially if you are in the process of building income streams and want a site to add to your list that pays well.
3. Referral Program
Talking of income streams, there are two that you can get from Ping Pong, each of which I have touched upon.
The referral program is the second way to earn money, and for me, it’s just as good as the studies themselves as you are being rewarded with $5 for every person you bring in.
Even if you have only a few minutes who are interested, that is an easy chunk of cash.
What I Am Not A Fan Off
1. Extra Income Instead Of Job Opportunity
The truth is that you can make money online doing testing and similar tasks. However, because you are not sure when the next study will come in, it’s not a dependable income to rely on.
You are also only getting paid once you complete a study. So one week you could maybe get 1, while on others you get a lot more, so it varies.
The only way to make a part-time income and potentially a full time one is through joining as many testing sites as possible.
If you fill out your accounts and complete all the profilers, you could get several tests to come through. At this point you and with how well they do pay you could earn a lot.
There are so many avenues to go down when it comes to making money online, so it’s all about creating different incomes.

All in all, I am impressed with what Ping Pong has to offer, they pay out well for the studies, and whether you are a tester or a researcher, you can benefit from it.
