Mood To Pop App Review Summary

What Is Mood To Pop?

Mood To Pop is the newest puzzle game released by developers Funnytaskt.

This company pops up every month or two with a new game that is set to be the one that is going to earn you lots of money.

As each of the games I have tried from these people have all had the same claim, that just downloading them will have you making loads from just playing.

To name a few of the ones they have done, you have:

  • Rolling Numbers
  • Mood To Merge
  • Block Legend
  • Merge Emoji

Now despite the game being shown as in beta and early access, this is something the owners have done with all their games.

In fact, all of their games are apparently ‘in early access’ despite being on the app store for months.

The reason for that I will explain later on in this post.

But just to quickly touch upon the stats of Mood To Pop, it currently has 100k installs and has had over 3000 comments put up by its users within the first ten days of being released.

These comments, which I will also talk more about later, really do give you a good idea of what entails any new user of the game.

How Does Mood To Pop Work?

Funnytaskt has been known for creating simple games using concepts already out there.

However, the difference between this and others is the addition of emojis that give it that child-friendly look.

Plus, of course, the rewards that can be earned through playing it.

Now, like their other games, this one follows the same pattern of popping Emoji bubbles.

Grid of emoji bubbles

The task for you is to pop groups of the same emoji to remove them from the grid.

When you do this and clear stages, you will earn several blue diamonds, which can be collected.

Each stage requires you to reach a target points total. Once this is met, you move onto the next level.

To aid, you also have tools at the bottom, so when you do get stuck, you can choose through 4 tools, as you can see above, to help you.

What Rewards Do They Have On Offer?

The main currency is the blue diamonds, as they can be used to withdraw rewards for your favorite games.

Now interestingly, Funnytaskt has a history of creating money-making games.

Ones where you can earn $100+ for doing simple tasks, however, in this case, no money is shown at all.

Instead, the payout is for currencies on different games, which has it shows below can be earned through attaining diamonds.

What You Need To Know About Mood To Pop?

As I mentioned earlier, there are a few aspects that are worth expanding on, as Mood To Pop isn’t as friendly as it may look.

While an ad showing you the game may make it look easy, and all the rewards may get you excited.

There is a lot more to this one, which my experiences through the owner’s previous games show.

So let’s get into the things you ought to know.

1. Beta Testing

Mood To Pop is currently in beta testing, and for anybody looking at games, this may not be that unusual.

Especially since games are always tested before fully launching.

However, where things don’t add up here is this developer never fully launches any of their games.

That is despite some of them being months old, and the reason for that is typically to stop users commenting.

As if a game doesn’t pay, then they won’t want people to put this in the comments to warn others that that is the case.

Its for this reason that its good practice to stay away from any reward-based apps that aren’t fully launched.

Because its the fully launched ones that are going to pay you out.

2. Misleading Comments

Despite what I said above, the owners have opened the comments for Mood To Pop despite not doing so for some of their popular games.

Whether the owners meant too, I don’t know.

However, its very helpful for people like me and you who want to know the real deal on them.

While you will find fake comments, you will see genuine ones, where people have tried the game and not got anything for their efforts.

This is something I picked up on from looking at Mood To Pop’s feedback.

Several people are saying how they haven’t received their currency, which is something I fully expected.

Here is one user I found who left a review a few days after the game was dropped:

Feedback for Mood To Pop

Conclusion

Mood To Pop looks like a great game and, in all fairness, is a fun one to play, but its the only reason to download it.

As in terms of rewards, there is simply nothing to be won or earned by popping different emojis.

With users reporting issues with the number of diamonds glitching and most importantly, not receiving their rewards like shown above, it makes it very obvious that this is not a game to trust in.

Therefore I don’t recommend playing this game, and instead, this list of paying apps will be a much better alternative for you.
