After looking around the internet for new games to review, I found the Money Ball app.
This game took my interest because the owners are saying you can withdraw money instantly for rewards.
So like anyone, I was curious as to whether or not this is true. After all, who wouldn’t be?
At this point, the game has thousands of players.
A lot of which I am guessing want to know if these coins you collect in the game have any use or value.
I am doing this review to explain whether this app can be trusted or not.

Money Ball App Review Summary
- Owner: Sidetech Studios
- What Are They?: Ball Drop game
- My Worth It Rating: 1/5
What Is Money Ball?
There is an array of making money games around these days. Most of them are disguised as just your everyday game.
If you look in the store, you will find that Money Ball’s description states you can receive both gift cards and cash through playing their game.
So far, there isn’t too much, not too like.
The Money Ball game, which is made by Sidetech Studios, is created as a platform breaking game.
The concept is similar to games like Dropping Ball and Neonball Master.
Chances are you had seen this game advertised before, as this game for a period of time went viral.
It was hard to avoid it, as it was promoted on social media sites.
Now collectively, this type of game has accumulated millions of players worldwide.
But all these free stack games can’t be compared to this one because what is on the table with Money Ball is something the others don’t offer.
This, of course being rewards, which is likely the reason why you are here now.
How Does It Work?
There is no denying that the concept of the game ain’t too bad.
You hold on to the screen breaking platforms, its satisfying to play and can kill some spare time of yours.
Upon launching the game, you will see something like this.
Right above, you can see different platforms stacked but not aligned.
Now when you click play, every tap will break a platform.
So that football will move down.
Where the obstacle is, is the green and black.
The green colors are breakable, but if you try to go through the black platforms, it will be game over, and you will have to try again.
After each failure, the theme can change, so you have different colors. But it’s normally the black platforms to watch out for.
When you complete a level, you will receive coins. This is where the money side comes into it and is what I will discuss in the next section.
How To Make Money With Money Ball?
Complete a level, and you will get either a set amount of coins or a free spin.
This basically means you have ensured coins because spins also give you coins too.
With the free spin, you can get various amounts depending on what you land on.
This goes from 10-200.
When you land on an amount, you are offered double rewards if you watch a video.
This is standard practice for these games, as it’s extra ad viewing for them to make money.
Interestingly you can also make money by completing surveys with their partners.
This includes Theroemreach, Pollfish and Tap Research.
All of which are perfectly legitimate survey routers.
However while you will get coins for completing surveys, it looks like Sidetech Studio keep all their money to themselves.
How Do They Pay?
The cashouts in place are PayPal and Paytm.
When you click on the coin icon before heading into the game, you are presented with various coins you can convert for rewards.
Now to redeem anything with your virtual currency, you need at least 15000 coins. This is worth $1.
The most you can redeem, and you would have to sweat for it, is 80000 coins worth $5.
Will Money Ball Pay Out?
About 30 minutes later and many ad viewings later, too, I had a measly 300 coins.
Which has you have just learned is worthless.
Now don’t get me wrong, I did barely anything for it.
But in order to get paid, your looking at 15000 coins.
This will take you hours, maybe even days.
Of course, it’s okay since your playing games, and you can’t expect to be getting paid well for it.
But there is a big chance that ,you won’t get anything for it if you reach the minimum amount.
Hence, I won’t be spending any more time grinding the coins, as I don’t know where I stand.
I could get paid however, it’s very unlikely, which Is why I don’t recommend you play it just to get these coins.
Now, if we pretended this game did pay, I would argue massively that it’s not worth your time anyway.
Hours of time for $1 puts you well below the minimum wage.
In fact, that would be cents per hour, and your time is worth more than that.
What You Need To Know About
1. Try To Avoid Crashing
Apart from that, you will lose lives that are limited but crashing causes an ad to start.
This is SideTech Studios’ way of getting money out of you by putting ads in the game.
These are 30-second clips, so taking it easy to ensure you are not constantly watching videos is what I recommend.
2. Likely Will Get Nothing For Your Coins
I touched upon this earlier, but reiterated my point, that there is no guarantee this game will pay.
It may say you can turn coins into real money, but whether they follow through, I highly doubt it.
Due to my experience with so many time-consuming games that smakes you think you can withdraw.
However, these developers are known for not processing any payouts. Even if you contact them, they will most likely ignore you too.
The best thing to do is to not put yourself in a position where you are fighting to get the few dollars that you think you are owed.
Money Ball Complaints
This is such a rarity for me because it seems like every game that is set up like this is in launch, which doesn’t allow people to leave their comments.
Basically means it’s becoming harder for people to complain, which is wrong because people should be allowed their opinions.
Money Ball has fully released their game, opening up their feedback. So I am going to go through a few of the pieces I found.
Starting with the first feedback:
This user was able to reach 15 thousand coins, however despite requesting a payout nothing was given to them.
It seems to be just as I suspected in that the game isn’t honoring there word.
Here is the next review I found:
I can completely agree with the first point this user is making. I experienced alot of ads myself in a short space of time.
If I failed a level I was shown an advert regardless if I pressed retry within the countdown. This is annoying.
However where this piece of feedback confused me, was this user said they were using it as a way to earn while being out of work.
It also seems by the way they put it that they were getting paid.
Now to begin with, this game even if it paid wouldn’t make up for your job.
You wouldn’t be able to ditch it and then switch to a game like this, since you wouldn’t be able to replicate the income.
Conclusion
Money Ball looks to be heading the way of being a waste of time.
It looks like an intriguing way to earn money, and with the game being fun it is nice to pick up these coins.
However its unlikely you will be able to get any reward from these coins, even though the threshold is quite low at $1.
This is shown with the number of reviews I found where people were spending all their time grinding out coins.
But ultimately had nothing to show for it as they weren’t receiving a payment.
It is disappointing because I had hopes that with a low threshold and users required to work for the coins, that there was a slight chance they could pay out.
Paying out $1 per person is much more feasible then the hundreds these other games claim.
Now despite that it looks like Money Ball joins all the other games not coming through.
What I Recommend
While you may be working in vain playing Money Ball, it doesn’t have to be like that.
Do you know why?
That is because there are legit games out there.
Now I’ll be straight up with you, you won’t make a full-time income with these genuine games, but since they are genuine you will make money.
To do this you will want to head on over to this guide full of games that payout real cash that I made.
Only there will you find games that aren’t pointless time suckers.
