Mistplay App Review Summary

What Is MistPlay?
Mistplay is a game that incentivizes users to try out new games by offering rewards such as PayPal and gift cards.
Its essentially the act of killing two birds with one stone, as if you find a game you enjoy playing you can continue to use it, just at the same time you’re being rewarded for your time.
Now Mistplay isn’t a new game, it been on the market for a few years ever since 2016.
But what I find interesting about them is that while other apps of its kind of fallen by the wayside, this one is as popular as it was when it first started to take off.
I’ve even reviewed a few of these already on my site, consisting of Coin Pop and the Playspot UK. If you have read these or even played them yourself you will see some aspects to them that are similar.
Both of which are also legit, so once you have finished this Mistplay app review feel free to check them out further.
Mistplay is the owner of MistPlay and has grown the app to over 10 million installs.
From over 129k people leaving the say on the game, they have also racked up a rating of 4.1 stars, which is considered good.
How Does Mistplay Work?
By now you have probably seen the advert.
There are a number of them and in each one there is another person showing you how it works.
I would assume that they are paid too, but anyway it goes a little like this:
- Download Mistplay
- Pick a game to play
- Start playing
- Earn coins you can use to withdraw
Now unlike some of the countless free cash games out there that keep secrets from there users, this isn’t what MistPlay does as anything you earn you receive.
It all starts with making an account and you can do this on either IOS and Google Play Store.
If you type in MistPlay it should be one of the first apps to appear.
Once you have downloaded the game and it’s installed you can make an account.
There are two options in front of you, you can opt to sign up through Google or Facebook which if you have the app already installed takes a few minutes. Alternatively, you can sign up manually by inputting a username and email.
The last step is to allow access to MistPlay, this is because they will need to monitor how long your playing the games for so they can pay you appropriately.
Picking Out A Game To Play
With the Mistplay sign up process out the way, you should now have some games in front of you.
From here its a matter of just choosing the game that takes your fancy.
Each game plays out, however, it’s worth bearing in mind that some have different payouts.
This is for no reason other than marketing budgets.
This is because of how MistPlay works are by promoting other app developers’ games.
These developers want to get new eyeballs on their games and playing them.
So the reason why each of the games is on the dashboard is that they want more people playing the game.
In return, MistPlay gets paid and from there you get a cut of what they receive.
Once you have your game ready, its time to move on to the next section of the Mistplay app review.
How To Make Money With Mistplay?
By playing the game you have chosen you will start to receive GXP which stands for Game Experience Points.
The more you earn of these will allow you to reach the next level and be eligible for better payouts.
So its one of those games where the more you play the easier it becomes to earn.
Once you have played a game for 1/2 minutes you will have some points added to your account.
These will often pop up has a notification while your playing, indicating how much that session was worth.
Getting Paid To Refer Your Friends
At Mistplay there is a referral program.
This helps you earn more money on top of what you earn for playing the games yourself.
Each person you bring into Mistplay will receive 100 points.
The requirements for you to receive this bonus is that your referral reaches level 4, which does require some playing on there part.
If you were to make money just by referring others, it would require you to refer 18 people to the game.
This would get you the lowest prize of a £0.50 Amazon Gift Card.
How Do They Pay?
As I was alluding to there one of the payouts on offer is Amazon Gift Cards with the lowest possible amount you can withdraw being 50p.
Along with the Amazon option you can also choose:
- Google Play
- John Lewis
These are the payment options I have from in the UK.
However, if you live elsewhere you might have more or fewer choices to redeem your points for.
But with the payout choices whether you wanted to pay for travel or even get some free v-bucks there is a payout for you.
What I Am A Fan Off
1. Find New Games
This goes for any mobile games fanatics out there that love to try and test new games out.
Mistplay updates their catalog of games fairly frequently, so you can keep on trying new ones.
While also getting paid to do in the process.
There are two ways you can look at it.
The first way being, you have found a game you’re interested in, however, it turns out it is on Mistplay too. So instead of playing that game for free like you initially planned too, you can get rewarded for your time too.
The other way to look at is, if you want to earn while you play, you have a wide choice of games to choose from.
So instead of going to the Google Play Store, you can log in to the Mistplay app to see what’s new.
2. Anyone Can Use The Game
Whether you are a pro gamer or a teen looking to make some money, this game is for everybody.
Now I often review all types of opportunities, some times I will review internet marketing courses like Fimp and Wealthy Affiliate other times I will review sites that give people the opportunity to make money completing surveys.
However, if there is one thing I have learned, not everything is for everyone and those above the only suit certain people.
But saying that gaming is one of those leisure activities that appeal to so many audiences.
My two sisters do it, my friends do it and even my grandparents do it.
3. Have A Good Track Record
An aspect you should always keep an eye out when reviewing apps is if they have a record of paying out.
With Mistplay they have users who are getting paid and sharing their payment proofs.
For the first time, you can say there rating on the app store reflects how good they are.
What I Am Not A Fan Off
1. Not A Big Earner
When you start to play through the games some points will start to come through.
However nothing to lucrative to the point where you can earn a full-time income or even go and quit your job.
As I said earlier the more you play the more you earn in the long run which could result in some passive income if you keep at it, even if that is just $5 or $10 a month.
Its a good way to earn money doing something you would have done anyway, but unlike running a YouTube channel or making an online website you won’t be able to live off it.
I do like Mistplay and for anybody wondering they are legit plus worth giving a go as they do payout.
As a gamer, you have the potential to get the best of both worlds with both incentives of playing new games and earning along the way.
What is useful is if you already have some of the games on your phone, it gives you some extra cash where before you downloaded MistPlay you wouldn’t have.
So ultimately it’s a good app that you can install on your phone, won’t make you tons of money however since they are an extra income app.
You can check them out for yourself by clicking here, this will take you straight to the game.
If your aim is to make a little more money, and diversify your income you can do that by having a look at my extra income sites. Here you will find sites that have helped me earn money in my spare time.
On that note I will end the Mistplay app review there, I hope you enjoyed reading it.
