Lucky Plinko Review: Legitimate Or Not?

I was watching YouTube the other day to find someone talking about this app called Lucky Plinko.

In the video, they talked about how you could earn free money and rewards, and as with anything that is offered for free, it got me interested.

It looked effortlessly easy to rack up dollars and to make money with the app.

But here is the thing I have tried out free cash apps for years, and at this point, I would consider myself reasonably wise on which ones are good.

So today, I will be checking out Lucky Plinko to see if you can win free from playing a game of Plinko.

What Is The Lucky Plinko App?

The Lucky Plinko is a play on from the popular Plinko game where you can earn prizes through landing coins in different blanks.

There are numerous versions of this game on TV that have been turned into game shows, one that we have in the UK is The Wall.

So with Lucky Plinko, you have an app version of the game, and since its a mobile game, you can bet that it is fixed to a certain degree.

The game is created by developers Shape Keeper Ltd and has over 500 thousand installs to its name.

It’s also not the first game that they have released that gives rewards. They also own the Lucky Money App that I have also reviewed.

Without spoiling it, that game did feel fixed, but hopefully, Lucky Plinko is much better. Let’s get into how to get started.

Now unlike Lucky Money, Lucky Plinko as only been made available in certain countries, one of the ones it’s not accepted in is the UK, However, whether it is possible for you depends on where you live.

Once you have the app installed and open, you don’t need to make an account to playing and earning money.

You will be shown a tutorial of how it works, what the currencies are, and how much money you need to make to get paid.

So there you have: the set up is relatively straightforward. Now, let’s get on to how it works.

How Does Lucky Plinko Work?

Now I will be honest before I started trying out the game, I wasn’t familiar with Plinko and how it works.

However, the good news is that if you don’t get it easy it is a simple idea to understand.

Now while it is a fun game, it can easily be rigged so that you don’t win as much or anything at all.

In this version, you have two different counters you can send down the table.

What you get back depends on the color, the yellow counters which are the most common give you crowns, with the green counters which aren’t so frequent you get money.

However, it is bearing in mind that the amount you get isn’t much, they are both slow earner, and for every 20 green counters you send down the table, you only get between $0.20 and $0.30.

It does sound reasonable; however, the cash out is high, so it will be a long road to getting paid out.

How Do They Pay?

Many users are getting confused about how much you need to earn before you can get paid.

Because, on the ads, Lucky Plinko says you only need $10 to get paid; however, once you’re on the app, you quickly find out you need $100, which is a vast increase from the original number.

So you need either 1,000,000 of the orange counters to get a prize or $100 in green dollars to get paid, each of which is given out at a low rate making it hard to reach them.

1. Designed To Gain From You

This app isn’t designed to give you that quick cash you initially thought you would be able to get.

Instead, they want to grind every penny out of you by showing you endless ads; this is why the amounts to get paid are so high because the likelihood is that you will give you before you even halfway.

Let’s say you earn $50; it looks cool. However, you will not see a penny unless you’ve reached $100. It’s at this point where Lucky Plinko has gained from you, but you haven’t gained from them.

2. Thresholds Are Too High

Now while you will likely not get paid from any of these apps, Lucky Plinko could of at least set an amount that would have been more achievable. With apps like Knife Bounty and Big Time Cash App, you only need to reach $10.

When I say only it doesn’t mean that its more likely that you will be paid, but it seems more in grasp than a big whopping number like $100. No extra income opportunity should have a threshold so high, I do think.

3. Not As Many Ads As Similar Apps

That isn’t a bad thing as, for the first time, I found that Lucky Plinko doesn’t abuse the ads and show them to you every second.

The last app I reviewed was Coin+, which was similar in that its a casino app, however with that one, you were shown multiple ads regularly.

For me, I recognize that ads are how these apps make money. However, they need to be shown in moderation, so they aren’t affecting your user experience too much.

Sometimes, it can feel like you are watching adverts on TV and not playing a game on your phone.

Lucky Plinko Complaints

As with any game on the market you are going to find complaints with it, however, with some apps and games, you will see some recurrent reviews which give you an idea of what to expect.

With Lucky Plinko the most common complaint of them all is that users are earning between $50-$99 with ease however when they become in touch of a payout, the app then decides to stop giving them money.

So with some users, they are building up the dollars fairly fast and even think that it’s a certainty that they will be paid out.

However, unlike at the start of the game were earning a few dollars is a breeze just earning a cent is a stretch.

This is definitely dodgy and gives off scammy vibes that the app is not paying out. Just check out this review below that I found on the app store:

As you can see this user which published a review only a few days ago was getting close to a payout. However, as you can see from what they have written they are no longer getting money.

This is not good and doesn’t fill me with any confidence that this app actually pays out.

Conclusion

It becomes apparent to me while trying Lucky Plinko that it is yet another game that is designed only to make themselves money.

Not like the advert suggests, you will not be making money, and if you do, you have become fortunate.

What makes this game very sus is the high threshold, in my opinion, $100 is far too much, and from playing the game, you know they will make you grind to the point where you give up.

It’s only then that you have lost all that time, and Lucky Plinko has gained from you.

So to conclude this is not an app I recommend as it’s not worth your time if your someone who is looking to make money these kinds of games won’t cut it.
