After seeing a surge of installs since its release towards the tail end of September, I thought I would do a Lucky Match review.
This is a fairly new app that is claiming you can earn as much as $5000 daily.
Their game is all around winning type games such as sweepstakes and scratchcards. From these, apparently, you can make some money.
But just because the advert shows a woman winning big and the pictures for the app in the store seem to show that they do, you can never know if they actually do until you have done your research.
Today, I am going to save you some time by playing Lucky Match for you and letting you know whether they are legit and if anyone can benefit from playing the game.
Make sure you read right to the end as there are more than one aspects you should know about them.

What Is Lucky Match?
Lucky Match is a sweepstakes app that claims to offer users an opportunity to win some money by many different features within their game. This includes scratchcards, spins, raffles, and puzzles.
Lucky Match named the game after their company and brought it out on the 30th of September. Since then, they have reached 50 thousand installs.
While the game just sounds like another one of those where you do the odd scratchcard, there is more to it. It’s actually a puzzle based game despite not giving you that impression from either the store or the advert.

How Does Lucky Match Work?
So there are multiple components to the game, all of which I will talk about.
Let’s go through them one by one.
Installing The Game
To get the game, you can find Lucky Match from within the Google Play Store.
Apart from downloading the game, there are no instructions you need to follow, as creating an account is not required.
It is a bit odd, as often you would be asked to connect to either Google or Facebook.
This is more to make everything backed up because if you earn money and there is an issue where the game resets, you can at least log in to your account.
Completing Puzzles
Once you have loaded Lucky Match, you will start with the main aspect of the game, which is the puzzle.
Puzzle based making money games are so popular and are the ones I review the most since they pop up the most.
Just to name a few you have:
Firstly you will see a ladder of levels, of which you will start from the bottom.
Now, this isn’t a puzzle as in connecting jigsaw puzzles, but one where you match 3 or more of an item from a grid.

So as I said, you need to swap items from within this grid so that there are 3 of one kind next to each other.
I was required to collect coins for this level, and as you can see from the top corner, there is a target.
To complete each level, you, therefore you need to reach that amount.
Scratchcards
Once you have completed a level, you will be given a bonus scratchcard.
Above, you can see an image of the first one I received.
But for the scratchcards, you can win up too $1000 on each one.
It doesn’t mean you will get much. As for me, I only made $0.05 on each scratchcard I did.
And because I completed three levels, I managed to get that amount on each one.
Spins
Spins can be found on the bottom left of the main screen.
These can’t be clicked on right away, though, since you need to reach level 3.
But after you completed the requirements, you will get a free shot at a spin.
On this wheel, you can win one of four prizes. This includes coins, cash, and gold.
You can also land on multipliers, which for the next spin, can give you more rewards.
There isn’t a limit on the number of spins you can make, but you must watch a video to do further ones.
Sweepstakes
There are two sweepstakes that Lucky Match has run.
The daily sweepstake has $100 up for the taken, whereas the other one is a weekly sweepstake that pays $5000.
For each one, you can see the previous winner. This includes a picture of them and where they are from.
Now to enter these, well, this is where coins come in useful, as you can use these to buy tickets.
The costs of these range from 1,500-2,500 coins a ticket, and there isn’t a limit on how many you can get.

Scratchers When You Invite Friends
There is a small referral program that I touched upon earlier.
If you invite one of your friends to play Lucky Match and start playing the game, you will get a scratcher.
Now the incentive is that you can win up to $1000 in these scratchers.
However, I am not sure whether you are guaranteed to win money in every scratcher you complete.
If you are not getting even a few cents, it’s probably not worth your time and effort.
How Do They Pay?
The minimum threshold that you need to get to to get paid reflects the amount you make from the levels.
For Lucky Match, the threshold is low in comparison to others at $7.
But because you only get a few cents a level, it’s still going to take you some time to reach it.
Now with other games, you might find it you get more money quicker. For instance, I have tried some that give you around $10/$15 just to download or play through the first level.
But since they have thresholds much greater at $100 and more, you still getting paid roughly the same anyway.
Even though I have said all that, you will unlikely get paid from these games, but you can hope.
What You Need To Know About
1. Only 50 Cents To Go
Now I wasn’t sure what the deal was with this game regarding whether earnings are fixed.
But after a little bit of digging, I found that, unfortunately, it seems to be the case.
I went through various feedback and what I found was the common amount of money to be stuck on was around the $6.50 mark.
This is conveniently only 50 cents off the amount you need to get paid.
When I saw that the threshold was low initially, I thought there would be a chance that Lucky Match pays out.
Since giving users $7, each may be more practical than $100 each.
But from seeing that people were getting to the amount I mentioned above and then for the next 50+ levels, not receiving even a cent is concerning.
One user played it for 2 months straight and at that time only got $0.20.
To put it into perspective, I got the same amount within 10 minutes of installing the game.
This is why the rating of 4.2 stars that they have at the time of writing this is misleading.
Since there are just way too many people not getting paid for it to be considered a good making money app.

Conclusion
From the positive feedback I did see for Lucky Match, there were good things to be said about the game.
Many people like the challenging aspect of the puzzles and how it is overall fun to play.
However, that doesn’t take away from the fact that the game leads people on and lets them believe that they will make money.
If it was just the giveaways present in the game, they might have been able to get away with it since that is the luck of the draw, and not everyone can become a winner.
But with the gift cards present which have thresholds in place, making it impossible for users to reach them is not great.
Tells me that you are better off not playing the game at all if you are playing Lucky Match for the money. You will just feel like you being strung along.
To conclude, it is an enjoyable game, but not one I recommend if you want to earn money.

With all the amounts circling around saying you can get thousands of dollars, I do hope this Lucky Match review cleared up some confusion.
