Welcome to my Light Sort Puzzle app review!
This seems to be the latest game on the app store to go viral.
That is because they claim that sorting balls by color can help you earn top dollar.
However, despite a rather convincing app, where it shows dollars going up by the second.
Today I am going to explain why you won’t be able to withdraw any earnings from the app.
So if you want to know why this game won’t pay and why they are operating in the way they are now, then this post will be for you.
Light Sort Puzzle App Review Summary
- Owner: Minijoy Official
- What Are They?: Ball Sorting Puzzle
- My Worth It Rating: 2/5
What Is Light Sort Puzzle?
A while back, I reviewed a game so similar to this one. It was around sorting colored balls into different tubes.
It was an interesting puzzle game, at least at first, however with that game also saying users could make money, it was never going to end well.
The way this game plays and what you need to do to get money is essentially the same.
Now Light Sort Puzzle does seem to be owned by different people, as Minijoy are the owners of this one.
They were released on the 15th of January, and at the point of writing this review, they are on 100,000 downloads.
But what is a more interesting stat is the game has an average rating of 3.3 stars on the app store.
I will explain why it is so low shortly!
How Does Light Sort Puzzle Work?
Like I explained in the previous section, Light Sort Puzzle has been done before.
The concept can be grasped quickly as what you are required to do is sort balls into tubes of their own.
So for e.g. and below is a screenshot if you have three columns mixed with purple and yellow balls.
You will need to sort them out so that one has just purple and one has only yellow.
Above is an example of level 1, where you only have two colors to sift through.
But from level three onwards, they start adding in more colors to make it harder.
When you complete tubes, they will fill to indicate that you have completed it.
Once you have correctly sorted each tube, you will finish the level, and that is when you will get bonuses.
How To Make Money With Light Sort Puzzle?
It’s a game that is fun to play and will be quite addictive. However, that is not what users are looking for as they want to earn money.
Right from the get-go, the main focus is money.
When you log into the app, the first thing you see is a money bank with the number $30 over it.
This is awarded to you to set you on your way.
However, this is as generous as it gets with this game because further payouts are much lower.
When you finish the introductory level, which is the first thing you do after collecting the log-in bonus, you get $5.
From there, you get $3 for the second level and then $1.8 for the third level.
Now, as you can see, there is a pattern of money lowering as you make progress.
This is done to make you feel like your winning while at the same time dragging the game out, so your playing for hours trying to reach the threshold.
How Do They Pay?
Working through the game, you will see how much the game wants you to reach before they let you redeem.
For Light Sort Puzzle, they make you reach $100, but after you have logged onto the game for the first time, you need $70.
You can see your progress by winning further money or by clicking on the wallet button in the top left corner.
What you don’t see at any point is what you can withdraw your money to. You can only see a button along with amounts.
Normally it would be PayPal; however, in this case. They don’t even tell you a payment method.
Now, to be honest, they aren’t going to be paying anyone anyway, but the fact there isn’t a method shown makes it even clearer that they have no plans to do so.
What You Need To Know About
1. Fun Game With No Cashout
Now because I review a lot of games, I, therefore, play through quite a lot of them.
Normally they are your bog-standard merging or dice game with no other motive to playing them than to earn.
However, to give credit to the Light Sort Puzzle game, it is enjoyable and one you can kill some spare time with.
That’s not to say that the owners have put too much effort into the game because I don’t think they have.
It is still clear that they have made a quick game and then thrown some ads on it to make money.
But what is good is that you can play it for fun and not to make money.
2. No Withdraw Options
Now I know I have just praised the game but what is terrible is the cash.
It all looks quite unconvincing that they will pay, and while most games I review don’t do a good job of hiding this.
It’s just so apparent that this game isn’t going to be paying out.
To start with, the game gives you $30 before you even press a button in the game.
That’s not money companies like this can just give away to 100’s thousands of players.
Next, you have what I spoke about earlier with no payment option shown.
If the game is going to say you can earn money, they at least need to state some method.
Now, if you still think this game will payout, then the complaints I am about to share should make it obvious that not only will you not earn, but no one else can.
At the moment, the game has over 6000 reviews, of which the majority are quite poor.
There are more 5 star reviews than 1-star reviews, mind you.
However, there is no evidence that any of these users have been paid.
People are leaving good ratings and reviews in the hope that the game will pay.
Here are a few examples:
These three users who all left a 5-star rating before even reaching the threshold, let alone getting paid.
This shows how the ratings on these games are misleading, and if you want to find out if a game pays, you should look at the reviews more closely.
Now next up, we have three reviews, which are recent.
As you can see, the game is stopping both users from withdrawing.
Based on what I have found in user reviews and my own experiences with games like this one, I don’t think this game pays.
You will easily get to $50-90 with Light Sort Puzzle however, to get to $100 and get paid seems to be impossible.
Let’s face it, games like this one have no intention of paying, and after a little digging around, that becomes quite apparent.
Now, if you are hoping to get paid with this game, I would say not to bother.
You will only waste your time, and any virtual money you get on the game. You won’t ever be able to withdraw.
I hope you got the answers you were after from this Light Sort Puzzle app review.
Do let me know of your questions that I haven’t answered in the comments 🙂
