Welcome to my iBuumerang MLM review.
This is an MLM company that is in the travel niche but hasn’t been around too long.
So the aim of this review is to show you whether in 2020 this site is worth investing time into.
What initially brought my attention to this opportunity was after seeing a number of negative reviews.
These were along the theme of people losing thousands of dollars, some of which were hard to read.
Now If I am being honest I wasn’t surprised to see reviews like these, because people lose from MLM’s every day.
But with that said let’s get into the review and find out whether this iBuumerang MLM is worth it.
iBuumerang MLM Review Summary
- Owner: Holton Buggs
- What Are They?: MLM
- Cost: Various Costs
- Verdict: Legit
- Recommended: Yes
What Is iBuumerang?
iBuumerang is a MLM that revolves around discount traveling, and that is what their services primarily offer.
How they market themselves is based on the idea that if you give out and help others save on travel you will receive in return.
So by doing this and showing customers a site with travel deals up to 70% percent, you will get a slice of the pie.
Now talking about the name iBuumerang.
I am sure you have picked up on sounds just like the word ‘boomerang’.
Which explains the whole giving and then it comes right back at you.
So while the idea seems to be giving while expecting a return, something like Cash Gifting, it isn’t quite like that. I will explain how it works later on.
But moving back the company it has been in operation for just over a year.
Now currently they have three main offices where they operate, two are located in Texas (one of them being Houston) and the second is in London, UK.
iBuumerang is also not the only travel MLM to exist out there, in fact, there are quite a few.
Recently a new one in Ascira opened their doors which having reviewed recently feels similar.
Who Is Holton Buggs?
Let’s start with the main man behind it all this is Holton Buggs who is both the Chairman and CEO of iBuumerang.
He has over 29 years in history with MLM’s and network marketing.
Firstly he tried his hands at creating an offline business.
While that was successful initially however it soon went into closure after the business took a nosedive.
This was a pivotal moment as Holton was in debt.
Ne now needed to make money to stop his house from being taken from him.
What I find fascinating about this story is what happened next. As its not something I have heard a lot.
He joined an MLM and I think it is safe to say his chips were in as he was able to save his current house and made bank in a matter of months.
Now because he joined early, which is what I recommend if you are going to join an MLM.
He was able to make it work and climbed up the ranks fast.
So now you have someone who is making 7 figures a year and you could say as there life set.
After that turn of events, he decided to continue the network marketing venture. He did this by joining a string of companies, this consisted off:
- Your Travel Biz (2001)
- Organo Gold (2010)
- iBuumerang (2019)
Now despite his success over the years, one thing Holton Briggs hasn’t been too far away from is controversies
In fact, every business he has been involved with as either turned out to be a Ponzi scheme or had several lawsuits filed.
However, from learning about his history, I admire his dedication and his perseverance to make money.
It’s no surprise to learn that he was an entrepreneur in his early days.
But he did start with regular 9 to 5 job before learning it wasn’t what he wanted.
He may have got lucky however the fact he has stayed successful over the past 20+ years shows that he understands MLM’s to a ‘T’.
This is what brings us to the present day, Holton started iBuumerang at the start of 2019 in March.
Which means he’s been under the realm for just over a year now.
Now with that said and just typing that out gives me the feeling that iBuumerang could be a decent company set up on good morals.
Let’s find out!
Last One Standing?
So let’s talk about the actual company and how it works.
If you check out there about the info you will learn that they are involved with a company called Xstream Travel.
This is where someone called David Manning comes into it as he is the owner.
As both him and Holton are partners, which have teamed up to bring this travel portal called ‘iGo’.
Here you can up to 70% off hotels, accommodation and all things Travel. Which sounds kinda good!
Various Discounts That Are On Offer
However and has you can tell by the heading, this is the only MLM that Xstream Travel works with.
I am saying that because they have worked with others in the past, however, none have quite gone to plan.
They do still work with TraVersus formerly known as Paycation, who offer the same services.
But many including Global Platinum Services to name one have fallen by the wayside.
Now if you like being sold, and to be honest Holton is good at that, here is the launch where he talks about the company.
It is just under two hours, so probably worth skipping through bits.
How Does iBuumerang Work?
Now with the iGo service that is brought to you by Xstream, distributors of iBuumerang can make money by referring people to buy those services.
If you are familiar with Expedia and Booking.com, then iGo will be an easy concept to grasp.
A platform where you can find the latest deals on travel, and if you can find customers who want to do just that, you can earn money.
It sounds easy to do, but I am sure you are familiar with MLM’s, right?
You will need to make what is a TSA account, this stands for Travel Savings Ambassador.
Well, you will need to become one of them in order to then firstly do the referrals, before secondly doing the earning.
Once you have become an ambassador you will be given a set number of ‘boomerangs’.
While this lost me at first, these boomerangs essentially equate to the number of people you can earn commissions from.
Let’s say you have 3 boomerangs, you then have the potential to earn from 3 people.
Anymore, well you would need to purchase a membership that allows you to send more.
So while it would make sense to just have a membership where you can just acquire as many customers as you can, you can understand why Holton does this.
iBuumerang Commission Plan
At this point and for you to click on this review you may be wondering on how do I join iBuumerang?
So let’s have a look at the plan in place at iBuumerang, which includes the packs and the ranks.
First of all, in order to join them, you need to become a TSA’s.
To do that you are required to purchase a package along with a membership that will recur each month
Now I first warn you there are a few upsells here, which start with a ‘Standby’ package which is compulsory.
This will get you one boomerang site, five boomerangs to send to your customers, an online management system and an iDecide interactive presentation. You will also get 25% of referral earnings.
Next, you have three memberships, which are themed around tiers of travel.
It’s expensive because you need to pay a fee to get the class and then continue to renew it.
The more you spend here the more benefits and perks you unlock. These are also renewed on a monthly basis also.
- Coach Class ($250) – Will unlock Hotels, Flights and Cars, get you 10 boomerangs to send, 10% dual team bonus and 50% travel saving bonuses. You will then need to pay $49.99 per month onwards.
- Business Class ($500) – Everything from Coach Class plus access to coach class and the cruises, 25 boomerangs instead of 10, 12% dual team bonus rather than 10%, 100% bonuses on travel savings. Finally you get Vip level 2 week reservations. Unlike the cheapest one, you will then have to fork out $99.99 per month.
- First Class ($1000) – Again everything from the past two, but this time you get access to business class, homes, weeks, marketplace, lifestyle, timeshare via iGo. Along with double the boomerangs to make it 50, 20% dual team and lastly Vip level 1 instead of 2 reservations. The subscription is the same as business class.
iBuumerang Global Packages
If you do buy a package and decide you want more they have a policy where if you upgrade in 60 days you only have to pay the difference.
Miss this deadline and you will need to pay the full amount.
But let me say especially for Business and First class it is a lot of money, and the membership will cost a fair penny too.
How Many Countries Is iBuumerang In?
iBuumerang is supporting 123 countries making them an almost worldwide establishment.
As long as you can pay what is required to join you can promote the travel services they have to offer.
With the travel niche its unique in the fact that people travel all over the place, meaning that you can show these discounts to anyone.
1. This Man Has Pedigree
And I am not talking about the dog food, more on the lines that this guy is successful in everything he does.
I talked about this earlier and I will say it again that Holton is a very smart and clever man who knows his way around MLMs and the art of recruiting.
What interested me is that he worked his way from the bottom almost to being at the top of the pyramid.
I am not saying that you should sign up because he is at the full front but for some reason, his history and what he has done stand out over MLM owners I have reviewed.
It also shows you that if you want to be successful and have the dedication to make an online business that works for you, that it can be done.
I think anyone can learn a thing or two from him.
2. Most People Go On Vacay
While going on vacation is a luxury.
A lot of people do.
Which means there is a market for it, a lucrative one as well.
Now the fact that Holton got involved in iBuumerang should be of no surprise to some, as he has been involved a few times in travel MLM’s.
The fact that going on holiday is expensive means that there is money to be made as commissions are bound to be sizeable.
It will also be easier to promote as you have discounts of up to 70%, which should entice people.
So if you know what you are doing then you could make money.
However, if you are new, and this is the first MLM that you are doing your research on it will be a gamble.
1. Very Expensive
One thing that hit me straight away was the prices of the packages and the upsells encouraging you to purchase the most expensive one.
If you want everything that they can offer, you are looking at a 4 figure startup. To some that is nuts. To me it shows that Holton is after that bag.
So already you have the feeling that you kinda need to be all in or not.
Here’s the deal and I will talk more about this a little later.
You don’t need to spend so much in order to create a business.
Like you could create a website, get traffic and promote products.
But without having to pay to have subscriptions and maintaining personal/group volumes.
This is why MLM’s suck.
The only reason why they are classed as legit is because they are offering a service.
But just because they are selling a product or service it doesn’t mean its not a con.
Let’s say you buy the packages, and in those first few months make no commissions.
This is a likely scenario and already has you on the backfoot before you have got started.
2. Only Launched A Year Ago
If you are doing your research the first detail you would often look for is the history and whether this company is trusted or not.
Now there are two ways to look at it, you have a positive and a negative.
The pro is that because is has not long just launched that if you can get your head in the door, you will have an advantage and can build your downline faster.
However on the other hand since they are new, and the fact so many travel MLMs surface and then disappear off the grid means you need to be cautious.
While Holton Buggs is a household name there are no guarantees that this scheme will last.
You could purchase the packages only to find that tomorrow they are gone, this happens with MLM’s more than you would imagine.
They come and go.
I reviewed Young Living a while back and they are a Multi-level-Marketing company that has been up for a few decades now.
This one has not and you are fighting against the odds by giving it a go.
While Holton hasn’t owned MLM companies in the past just been a successful distributor, his past record shows that he has been lured into new projects.
One that comes to mind is the IQ Chain Ponzi scheme.
He jumped ship for what looked like the money, since he had no experience in cryptocurrency.
That was an odd move.
So if something doesn’t go to plan and the early hype cools down, he could potentially move to something else.
Obviously, you never know, but with the prices, you would be investing in iBuumerang.
You want to know that you are in it for the long run.
3. Still A MLM
Let me be frank with you, MLM’s make people money.
But the people it does bring in the cash for is not you.
This is because getting into this industry requires a lot of work.
And when you start from the bottom you have to recruit, recruit, and more recruit.
9 times out of 10 though people don’t come out on top. These are stats you can’t ignore.
So with those odds not in your favor and the up-hill battle you face to profit let alone become a millionaire as all these owners claim. It’s ultimately not worth it.
Is iBuumerang Legit or a Scam?
Now based on what I have learned I am confident that iBuumerang is not a pyramid scheme nor is it a scam.
But that doesn’t mean I recommend it.
Because I don’t.
The MLM way of recruiting is not for the faint-hearted. Unless you can recruit people and make this work from the get-go, you will lose here.
MLM’s are not easy to earn with and the huge costs here will put you under pressure to make it work fast.
I have seen countless people get into companies like this one and end up as a wreck.
So honestly it’s not worth it.
While Holton is a recruiting genius (while I do admire) he is the one who will be making a truckload from all those who buy his expensive packages.
All in all, not a scam, just not worth it.
Don’t Risk Hundreds Of ‘$’s
There are so many MLM’s out there and a lot of people getting involved in what seems to be a good business model to make money with.
However, listen closely.
Only 1% of people who join these programs actually profit.
So after all the start-up costs, you have that single percentage of people who are making money.
Now while you are going to have big odds with whatever you do. Whether that be a footballer, singer, so on, the same isn’t necessarily applied to make money for yourself.
The thing is if your goal is to make money online, create a business for yourself, whatever financial goals you have, well it’s not as hard as you think to achieve.
I currently do affiliate marketing which is creating a site and promoting products, similar to MLM’s but without paying membership fees (or losing)
As a result, it becomes a much better way for lots of people to earn passive income online.
I would love to carry on talking more about this, but if you are interested in the idea of making a business for yourself you can check out my #1 recommendation here.
That brings us to the end of this iBuumerang MLM review.
