They are like the apps I was talking about earlier with this one they pay you for your unused internet data.

What Is Honeygain?

Honeygain is a crowdsourced network company that allows businesses to do various market research study’s over the cloud. They also claim that users can make passive income from using there site/app.

They are new having only been released in May and since then have racked over 500’000 installs on the app store.

I have labeled Honeygain legitimate as they operate under safe circumstances and any data they get from you they do not keep for themselves.

Not everyone is going to be comfortable with companies accessing their data, so if that is you then you can check out other opportunities for making an extra income online

How Does Honeygain Work?

Firstly you will need to install the software onto your device. You can download it on either Windows or Android, for the time being, they have said they plan to support more soon.

Getting set up won’t take you too long and took me around a minute.

Once opened you will need to go through a brief introduction before making an account for yourself.

Here there are three things needed:

1. Email Address
2. Password
3. Verify Your Email Address

They are the only steps required in order to get the app up and running. You will, of course, need to make sure you’re connected to the internet.

Who Do I Make Money With Honeygain?

Simply keeping the app open is all you need to do in order to make money. I was quite surprised that this was all I had to do, as soon as I had registered and was taken to the dashboard I noticed that.

As for it goes for how much they pay, they currently for every 10mb pay you 1 credit. Each credit is worth a tenth of a cent.

On-site, they do have an earning estimate tool that tells you what you can expect.

For example, if the app is on for 720 hours in a month you could get up to $50 a month. The cool thing is that if you have another device you could then double that amount.

Honeygain Referral Program

Honeygain has a referral program where you can earn further by inviting others to use the app.

You will get 10% of all your referral earnings and these will be added onto the end of the month. So for e.g, if your referral earns $1 in a day you will get $0.10 credited to your balance at the end of the day.

Is Your Data Safe

With an app like this one where your data is being used for research one of the first questions that you would naturally ask is whether it is safe.

With Honeygain they do make it very clear in there terms that no data is kept or sold on and only for data scientists research. This consists of Seo Monitoring and Market Research

Payouts are made once you have reached $20 and are paid out via PayPal which is the only payment method they support at the moment.

These will also be processed within 24 hours of request.

Is Honeygain A Scam?

Honeygain is not a scam and is a legitimately run company that pays you for your unused internet. It’s an interesting concept and is different from existing ‘get paid for data’ opportunities out there.

I do like how once you have downloaded it you can launch it and forget as it works in the background.

Despite only being launched towards the end of May it is clear that they are genuine as I have seen and heard of people who have been paid out by them which is good to see.
