What Is Happy Birds?
Happy Birds is made by Lucky Game Studio CO, which is advertised as a money-making game where users can earn various rewards.
Included are PayPal money and gift cards to a range of retailers.
Its a bubble popping game with several levels, which users can work through while making cash at the same time.
There are a few games that I have covered like Happy Birds including:
How Does Happy Birds Work?
Now when you hear the name Happy Birds and even see the logo that the company use, it does remind you of the popular game, I alluded to at the start called Angry Birds.
But despite the very close names and birds that look quite close, the aim of this game is different.
You aren’t catapulting birds into wooden buildings to capture pigs, and this game is a lot simpler than that.
What you have are various fruit-themed bubbles that are also coloured.
The game is one where you pop bubbles that are close to each other.
So like you can see in the image below, there are different colored bubbles above a chain.
This chain has a lock on it, which shows you how many bubbles you must pop to complete the level.
The colour of the chain is what bubbles you need to focus on.
So, in this case, I would need to get rid of 5 more red bubbles to move on to the next stage.
Now just like other games like this, have power-ups, where you can blast through quite a few of the objects.
This one has one, too, and you can do this by clicking on the birds that sporadically add themselves to the pile of bubbles.
How Do You Make Money With Happy Birds?
The way Happy Birds give out cash is by giving you cash packs.
Packs of which are really easy to collect and are given to you regularly as you play.
Now from playing a few stages, I found two ways of getting them.
You have packs that are added to the pile of bubbles during games.
Just like shown in the picture below:
These are awarded every twenty seconds, and if you haven’t claimed the one given before then, you will miss out on any further packs they give you until you claim the one originally given to you.
Essentially you need to keep claiming and opening them while trying to play the game at the same time.
The second way of getting these packs is by completing a stage of the game.
Every stage gives you one pack, but just like I mentioned before, if you have one that’s not been opened, you won’t be awarded another.
So there is a lot to keep up with to ensure that you get everything the game offers to you.
What Payout Options Do You Have?
If you look at the photos advertising the game, you will see that multiple retailers are shown.
You have Walmart, Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Nike, and Macy’s.
However, upon loading the cashout screen, there are only two options to redeem your balance.
The choices consist of $100 or $200 amounts of Google Play and PayPal money.
It says you can cash out immediately upon reaching either of the amounts.
But whether that is true, you will only be able to find out once you got to the amounts.
Earning Cash Too Frequently
The idea of an app giving you frequent money sounds really good on paper.
If a game gives you dollars after dollars without doing anything, you would think well, that’s awesome.
However, the way this game pays is more annoying than anything else.
The reason why is that you get these packs I have been talking about once every 20 seconds.
So you are constantly getting these pop-ups, and in order to collect them, you have to keep tapping on them.
That would be fine if the money was straightaway added to your balance.
But each pack comes with an ad associated with it.
Just clicking on a pack is enough to activate it.
If you decline the money by pressing close or accept the money, then a 30-second ad will be shown regardless.
Its the sneaky way that these games go about making money, as they force you to watch them
Now because of the way this game works, with packs not being added if you don’t claim ones you already have, you are given this feeling that you’re missing out.
Stuck At $99.98?
After paying attention to the reviews, I found one number in common.
That was $99.98, which it seems like almost every user is getting stuck on.
Now you may think this is a coincidence or maybe just your average game glitch.
But in actual fact, the developers are doing this likely on purpose.
As I spoke about in the payments section, the minimum threshold for users is $100.
So people think if I can just get to that number, I can get my money and get out.
However, once you start playing and getting money easily, you become trapped.
That is, you have all this virtual money that you believe is valuable but is now going up slowly.
Conclusion
Happy Birds is a good bubble popping game if you remove the cash earning aspect from it altogether.
All the cash packs make the game messy, and with these packs given to you every few seconds, it is quite spammy.
If you are thinking of putting time into the game, you have to be prepared to be messed around with.
The game will give you these packs with cash in. However, they won’t make it easy for you.
It won’t be a case of downloading the game and withdrawing $100 like that, it’s not that easy.
You can expect to not reach the threshold, if anything and therefore not earn any cash.
It’s just how these games work, and if you believe that you will get paid, you are only falling into their trap.
This, for me, is a typical misleading game that will trick thousands and eventually millions into getting the game to earn.
However, if you really want to earn money, the legitimate way to do so is by using these fantastic paying apps and games.
Closing Off
There you have it. That was my honest and unbiased review of Happy Birds app review.
As you read by my conclusion, this game is likely not going to leave you feeling happy but likely frustrated, so I don’t recommend them.
