Welcome to my Greedy Dragon app review.
In a market where there is a plethora of making money games that aren’t actually genuine, it can be a really hard task to find those that are.
At the end of the day, for you to be here your goal is just to make money from playing some kind of game.
However when apps come around saying you can earn this and you can earn that, but however don’t stay true to their word.
Well, it can leave you in a tough spot and ultimately lose your trust in the applications out there.
Now the game I will be talking about today called Greedy Dragon that claims to change that perception by paying you fairly, says you can earn some money through playing different games on the app.
Since I have tested legitimate apps, which you will also find my recommended ones by clicking on that link, I try not to judge a book by its cover even when its hard to.
So this post I will be giving you my unbiased take on the game, as we learn about it together. If you want to know if it pays I will be revealing this during this review.

Greedy Dragon App Review Summary

What Is Greedy Dragon?
Greedy Dragon is an app that pays you to test out newly released games on the app store in return for rewards like cash and gift cards.
It is owned by Greedy Dragon Company and is a lot like cool others app in Mistplay, Playspot, and Appstation that all offer a similar way for you to utilize your phone to earn money in your spare time.
So as you can see this app isn’t a fresh concept as it had been done, but what is good about this type of app is the concept works.
I try many apps/game that claims to give out lots of money, but these prove to be a waste of time, has they don’t payout.
The reason why that is is that they show amounts of money to their users that they can’t actually fund.
This isn’t the case with Greedy Dragon, as they work with apps that pay then, from there they give a cut to their users.
Its a lot like surveys and gpt sites, which are run on that same basis, where users get an amount of what they earn themselves.
However despite how theoretically they can payout, it doesn’t nesscarrily mean that this one will, I will answer this a bit later along with some of the issues I did encounter with the app.
Now Greedy Dragon is free to install and was released on the 4th July 2019 so it has been around a while.
It also has 100,000 installs and a rating of 3.6 out of 5 over the 2 years its been live.
How Does Greedy Dragon Work?
To get started with Greedy Dragon, you must first load up the app as you would expect but also create an account.
Creating an account can be done through three different ways.
Either by connecting to your Facebook, Google account or just registering with another email you have.
It doesn’t matter which method you choose as it takes the same amount of time and within the next few seconds you will be moved on to the next step of the sign up.
Now on this next page, you need to put in your age and gender. After reading the privacy policy page which you can find under the game in the store, it states you must be 18 years or over to use the service.
If your younger, you may not be able to receive a payout, if they find out you don’t meet this requirement.
After you have put the age and gender in to the two boxes, you will be asked to allow tracking.
Now to do this, you will be redirected to the settings within your phone to allow this.
Normally I would say to you that games don’t need any permissions, as they sometimes ask for permissions to weird things like your contacts and your camera.
But for the app to work, they need to track your usage on the games, so that they know how much to pay you. I will explain more on this in the next section.
How To Make Money With Greedy Dragon?
You can make money with Greedy Dragon through two ways using the app.
There are the games and a referral program, both of which I will talk you through how exactly it works.
But firstly a good place to start is the in-game currency which is coins.
These coins are given when you do anything within the Greedy Dragon app.
As a result these also have plenty of value, as it what you will need to redeem rewards.
Now straight of the bat, they give you 3599 coins.
Its something that apps like this one do for their users to help them get off the bat, and encourage them to work towards their first reward.
Playing Featured Games
Once you have found your way to the dashboard, you will see all the games on offer that you can start playing instantly.
There could be many on this page, or there might just be one or two.
Now these games all give you potential to start earning the desired coins to build up your balance and cash out.
To give you an example I was shown just the one game called King Of Avalon.
My reward for playing this game is 1339 coins a minute.
All I need to do is download it by pressing the green button and while I play I will start earning coins on a minute basis.
Now, something to bear in mind is that these coins are not consistent throughout your playing time.
As the more you play the less you get, this is because you are getting diminishing rewards.
The reason for this is you are getting rewarded mainly for downloading a game and playing it for a few minutes.
Its not a case of playing a game for hours and earning lots of money, its just not the case, as the companies who partner with Greedy Dragon don’t have the funds to pay out that much money.
Not just that but from a business point of view, it doesn’t make too much sense.
So the game plan for apps like Greedy Dragon is to play one until you have got as many coins out of it as possible.
Before then moving on to another, as long as there are more games popping up in your dashboard.
Referral Program
You are not just limited to playing games yourself has Greedy Dragon also has a referral program where you can invite your mates and further your earnings.
There referral program has two perks to it, you get 200 coins for each referral that you are invite to the app.
You also get 25 percent of everything they earn from their time on the app.
As you can see there is a lot of potential with referrals, and you could even earn a lot more then if you played them yourself.
However what can be tricky is getting people to sign up, if you don’t know of too many people who would be interested.
I have written a guide here though that shows you how to get referrals on websites and apps.
How Do They Pay?
Once you have made some coins, you can start looking at getting a payout.
Payouts are nice and easy, with you just needing to reach a small minimum threshold to get sent a payment.
Greedy Dragon does pay and supports methods consisting of PayPal, Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, and Zalando.
Of the five PayPal is by far the easiest to get straightaway as the lowest amount is 3999, for £0.20.
While it is small, a user will only need to play a game for a minute in order to request it.
Conclusion
Greedy Dragon is a cool app that pays out users efficiently to play cool new games they might have done anyway for free.
Not only does it give you the chance to earn money, but you can do so while having fun, which makes the app worth it.
Mind you though, there isn’t a ton to be made here, as the earning potential is low due to the rate at which they pay per minute and also importantly the number of games you have available.
However, as long as you understand that and go in with that mindset it is a paying app you can’t go wrong with.
If your intention is to make even more and get $10-$30 a day through playing games, then I recommend checking this list of other paying apps I like to use in my spare time.
