Golden Dot Connect Review: Legit Or A Scam?

Welcome to my Golden Dot Connect Review.

In times like this, there are more people than ever looking for a way to earn money online.

With nearly everyone having phones these days and almost all of them having apps, a lot of businesses have tapped into the business in of creating apps that can supposedly make you money.

What they will do is create games were by playing, you can accumulate rewards, whether that be actual cash or gift cards.

The thing is how many of these app’s payout is very little. However, they still pop up all the time.

Now with this app that I will be talking about today, they claim you can make money through connecting dots. It seems like a simple enough game, however, is getting paid by Golden Dot Connect simple.

My history with games such as this one suggests maybe not.

Let’s dive right into it.

What Is Golden Dot Connect?

Golden Dot Connect is an app where you can supposedly earn money by connecting colored dots to each other.

That brings back memories to the first time I got a phone.

As these were the same kind of games I used to play on my phone for hours.

But with the current trends, a lot of developers are taking old games and releasing them but with the added feature of being able to earn money.

It’s perfect for these app developers as they attract game lovers plus those who want money and get a surge of people to there app from both markets.

That is exactly what these other apps that I have reviewed have done too:

• 2048 Merge Balls
• Bounty Puzzle
• Word Picnic
• Starry Legend

These are just a few of the games that came to mind; however, if you look at the app store, you will often see games of the same kind that were launched years ago.

Now to look closer at the game, the developer is Happy Bubble Games.

They have other bubble themed games to thier name. This game, however, it sitting on 100k downloads at the time of writing and as a score of 4.2 out of 5.

How Does Golden Dot Connect Work?

You can only install Golden Dot Connect of the google play store using android phones.

I did do my research to see if the game is on IOS too however it isn’t.

There although are versions of it available, it isn’t by the same developers as the one on Android though.

That tends to be the case with most of these free cash games, as most of them are on Android.

To sign up, you can either do a guest login through connecting your Google account or by using your Facebook account, which awards you with a chest.

After this depending on how you signed up, you will either have a bonus or not; I went with Facebook to see what was offered.

I got $1, which seems cool, however standard procedure of apps these days is to have a threshold that will take some time to reach.

So unless it’s possible to actually cash out, getting this dollar is worthless.

How To Make Money With Golden Dot Connect

What you will see is different difficulties of levels, it starts with easy and goes to impossible.

In each section of you have a number of levels that vary. For the first section being beginner, you need to complete 50 levels to move on to easy peasy, which has 150 levels.

Has you can imagine at the start it is straightforward and will take you a few minutes if that to complete it.

As soon as I had finished this level, I had $2 to add to my already received $1 bonus, so not to bad for 3 minutes of launching a game and playing just a single level.

After the completion of a level, you will see a progression through a ladder, each level as its own reward.

So you might get a cash bonus and other times you get a chest which requires you to watch a video to unlock.

I went ahead and played roughly eight levels and made $10, all very easy but, of course, too easy to mean I can actually withdraw it.

How Do They Pay?

What you earn from playing the game is called bonus cash; in order to withdraw it, you need to go to the payout section and convert it.

There are two amounts that you can withdraw, one is $110, and the other is $270. So like I was getting onto earlier, you do need to put in more time to get this withdrawal.

If you get to either of those two payouts, you can get paid them within one business day; this is what they state in-game.

Refer And Get $1500

How true this I do not know, but within the Golden Dot Connect app, there is a referral section and program.

Here they claim users can earn up to $1500 by inviting others to play the game too. That combined with the fact you can get up to $1.95 an invite.

It seems it’s not one payout issued every time someone joins through your link, this money is split up into three.

It goes like this:

• Earn $0.01 for every person who joins
• Get $0.04 if the user logs in on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th day
• 10 percent of users earnings

The last one is supposed to make you the most money; however, from going over this a few times, I’m not sure what they mean by this.

Because with the game and how much new users get at the start, do you get 10 percent of what they make, do you only get paid if they withdraw and finally is it capped.

None of these questions are answered, which makes it unclear on what exactly your getting from this opportunity.

But from first glance, the fact they say you can make up to $1500, puts them in the bracket of other games that have unrealistic claims.

What I Am A Fan Off

1. Fun Game But Done Before

This game takes me back years, it was fun back then and still is now even with different developers.

However, it has been a number of times; chances are you probably have a game like this before.

But with that said, there isn’t much wrong with the game when you look at it from an enjoyable aspect.

It’s the earning opportunities which don’t seem great, but if you can put that to one side, you could have fun with this one.

The great thing is you have 1500 levels to go through, so if you have some time to kill, it could be a challenge.

However, the section of 150 impossible levels does seem scary.

It all depends on what your aim is as I do know most people who come to my reviews of these apps want to see if they will be paid or not.

What I Am Not A Fan Off

1. No Flexible Withdrawals

I told you I had a feeling that this game will be too good to be true, so let’s talk about the withdrawals.

Which aren’t appropriately advertised, as, in the advert, it says users can withdraw at any time.

However, when I went to the payout section after earning a few dollars, there was no option too.

The reason is too apparent, and that is because it’s not possible.

They are just misleading people into thinking it is so that they download the game.

The more people who download Golden Dot Connect, the more money they make and the more time people waste.

That is if these people are trying to earn as the likely outcome is that no one will gain apart from Happy Bubble Games.

It sucks to see, but it is what it is with these games, and all of them do it.

2. Poor Referral Program

There are extremes to this referral program, you have the bald claims that they make about users earning up to $1500, but then you have the fact they pretty much pay $0.01 for every person who joins.

It does look at first like you get close to $2 per person, which would be classed as good.

But from looking into other people’s earnings and the leaderboard, which is there for everyone to see, it shows that the person at the top as earned as $1.35 for the day.

Credit to that user has they probably recruited 100+ people to the app, but not only is that such a low amount for a significant effort, but I just wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t payout.

3. Reaching Level 500

The promise made to users is that as long as you reach level 500 and earn $110, you will get paid out.

That does seem fair. However, there are people who are making it that far only to be either not paid or to have there progress reset.

You will see these reviews for most games where money as been deducted or earning slows up.

Here is some feedback I found for Golden Dot Connect.

That was what happened with:

• Bounty Puzzle
• Crazy Popstar
• Lucky Pusher

There are more, but this is very common as these developers like to make it as hard as they can for you to get paid. In the end, you will likely not get paid out as they won’t send one even if you have followed the rules.

So the best solution and something I have learned over this journey of reviewing a number of these games are to not bother at all with them.

You will find you will get more for your time if you use a reward site, legit paying apps, or even by creating your own website and making revenue through that.

Conclusion

I like tube-based games like Golden Dot Connect as they get you thinking and are great. However, games like this which claim you can make money are something I don’t like.

Not because I don’t like making money, but more because they never payout or fulfill any of there promises

Where it gets worse is when you learn that most of the users have been introduced through false advertising, now that’s just wrong.

I don’t recommend Golden Dot Connect if you want to earn money fast, because it’s not possible even though the advert makes it seem so.

There are too many people for my liking that are encountering issues with getting the $110.

This is a tough one as the company as likely taken so much revenue from them through the hundreds of levels that they have completed.

If you do want to make money online there are ways to do so, while this isn’t the way to go, you can join rewards site that will pay you to do fun extra tasks like watching videos and surveys.

This is something I recommend for people who are interesting in making money and those who like to use there phones a lot as you can do earn through using any device.
