Gold Miner Mania seems to be the new phenomenon on the app store, with the game currently getting a lot of attention for one big reason.

That being the game is claiming users can win not just one iPhone but multiple. Just like shown below.

Now the idea of playing a game and being able to receive one brand new phone is hard to believe.

But when the claim is that you can get multiple phones that are likely to cost thousands in total that is where I start to make my mind up on what kind of game it is.

This is all before you even get a chance to play the actual game, as they say, all this in the number of ads that are surfacing right now just like the one shown above.

Right now the game is being pushed hard, to the point where while playing other games on my phone I saw different versions and scenes made by the developer.

The people behind this game are called Super Star Game Studio. This is the first game they have made, but with it being an instant success I don’t think this will be the last we hear or see of them.

How To Play Gold Miner Mania?

When you press play, you put into the game where you will see a miner with a mining fork, which spins from side to side.

It’s quite close to some games called Mining Time and Idle Planning. However, with this one, there is more involvement from you required.

Now to start with you should see a PayPal puzzle piece in the ground, like shown below:

So what you need to do tap on the screen when the fork is pointing in the way of where the item is.

That will allow you to collect it and whatever you win gets added to your current totals.

In the above example, after picking up the puzzle piece the $50 was then added to my virtual cash balance.

After making a few pickups, the game becomes very straightforward and you will be able to quickly wizz through the levels.

There are also rocks that give you coins and upgrades to your mining fork to be collected.

How Do They Pay?

You’re going to find very early on that Gold Miner Mania want you to feel special.

This is why an opening level of $50 followed by $73 in the next level is given to you.

But if you have a balance of $123 like I did after doing two levels, you are going to want to know if you can cash out.

Well, the answer is you can’t until you reach $200, however, if you manage to you can redeem for PayPal money.

Now to not get your hopes up, it is worth noting there are two likely outcomes here.

Firstly you aren’t even expected to make enough.

I know I have $123, you may have that amount showing and more, but as you play, the developers are far less generous.

Secondly and I will touch upon this more in the next section they don’t actually have to pay you.

When I spoke about the developers at the start you will remember how I said this company has no background with games.

There is also no information on the owners too.

So because of that, it would be foolish to bank on some randomers to pay you tons of money.

Now for most users who play these games and see the adverts, they likely have it in their minds, that they will be getting rich from playing a game.

After all, there are numerous adverts not only displaying $100 notes but also portraying the idea that someone can repeatedly earn iPhones without any strenuous effort.

However what I noticed and I always encourage people to do this when trying out new games is to check all the terms and conditions.

These are so easily dismissed by users, however, when you don’t read them you risk wasting a lot of time.

That is because, in the EULA, it could state that any items cant be withdrawn, but no one would know because it’s not been read.

Now in this case for Gold Miner Mania, there is a EULA where all the terms of the game are present this includes everything to do with the virtual items.

This is relevant to any users who want to earn money with the game, as the currencies are all virtual.

Below you will see a snippet from the terms that basically states that its at their discretion what happens to rewards and any requests you put in.

At the bottom, I have highlighted something important and that is that they are basically under no obligation to pay anyone out.

It’s the unfortunate sad truth of the matter, and when players press the green play button, they are agreeing to all the terms stated.

Now I am not going to say that Gold Miner Mania is a scam, that is because they are and it is weird to say legit.

I know it’s a tough one since they are still kind of misleading their users into playing their mining game.

However, the thing is the owners have been very clever which is why they have clearly stated in the terms that they don’t have to pay anyone out.

The idea of these games from the owner’s point of view is to cash in and make money, from those who want to earn it too.

But as you can see there is only one winner that being the developer.

So with everything I have covered in this review including their EULA, that contrary to their advert where everyone is seemingly getting rewarded the reality is you will be extremely lucky to even receive a single dime from them.
