What Is Fortune Cat?
Fortune Cat is an app that rewards you for doing easy tasks on your phone.
In return, your reward is different currencies for viral games on the app store right now.
It is not just Fortune Cat that is tapping into this recent viral trend of games offering the same types of opportunities.
As apps such as 2248 Cube Winner have seen their popularity surge all because they look to offer effortless ways for people to get free rewards.
Now with so many options, you would start to believe that there are so many ways that a gamer of Free Fire could redeem all the weapons and gear they wish.
However, my findings suggest otherwise, as those linked games above all proved to be untrustworthy.
But does Fortune Cat prove to be the same?
Make sure you read until the end to find out.
Taking The App Store By Storm
Now, as is the nature of money-making apps, they always grow in downloads exponentially.
Unlike your typical game that may start off slow, these developers have a knack for getting their games to thousands of users in days.
This is all because of the excitement around potentially earning rewards or cash.
However, owners Huaxing Oriental Technology, have caught a number of people by surprise.
That is because they have taken their first ever app in Fortune Cat to 4 million installs in a matter of months.
And while it was a slow start to some degree when it was first launched in February.
Now in August, the app is getting thousands of reviews a day and likely has an even more actively used application.
Some people may think that if a game is popular and generating such a high volume of viewership, that it must be good.
But from inspecting the app, there is very little evidence to suggest they pay.
This can be down to so many different factors.
You have the fact that with so many users, it might be hard for them to keep on track with payouts.
But you also have the small factor of many games like this not having any intent on paying despite various payout options on display.
Getting Started With Fortune Cat
You can do this by simply pressing the agree option.
After that, you need to allow the app to access different requirements.
This includes location, calls and media.
However, you should be able to press deny on each of these and still be allowed to get inside of Fortune Cat.
Having done all that, you should be at the dashboard of the app.
You might be though shown a pop-up, where you see 7 days worth of rewards.
As shown above, you are able to get coins and chests, but only if you make a sign in.
Now signing in, doesn’t require you to make an account, which you would normally be required to do so.
Instead, you just have to watch a short video, and after doing so, you get the first bonus of 488 coins.
How Does Fortune Cat Work?
Initially, the app is quite confusing, and while setting it all up is fine.
Working out exactly what is on offer rewards wise and where to earn coins took me a few minutes to wrap my head around.
The reason why is because the app has sections in which you can get free coins.
So what you have on the app consists off:
First Section – Reward
To start with, you have the reward section.
This is where you can see all the rewards that Fortune Cat has to offer.
You also get to see how many coins are needed for certain rewards.
Along with all the options, you are also able to see how many times it has been redeemed.
Second Section – Strategy
The second section is called strategy, which initially looks like a place to read the latest news.
But in actuality, it is a mixture of videos and articles from which you can earn coins from.
Third Section – Free
Next up, you have a free section, which is where you can earn a separate currency called ‘active point.
Acquiring these will allow you to exchange them for coins so that they can be redeemed.
However, you must rack up 10 of these to be able to do so.
To get these active points, you can complete various quick tasks such as quiz’s, videos and leaving reviews.
You also have a few mini-games which you can play and work on too.
How To Make Money With…
How Do They Pay?
What You Need To Know About
1. Full Of Unskippable Ads
Now one thing I picked up on early is the frequency of ads.
For an app like this, using videos as a way to monetize it will bring in a lot of revenue.
Even if they are not shown to users often, and that is because of the millions of users using the app.
However, what seemed to be the case, is that the owners are looking to get that quick bag of cash.
As just moving around the app would result in me being shown an ad.
Sometimes its skippable after a few seconds, while for others, you have to wait for up to a minute.
But when I compare it to other money-making games that already like to push ads heavily, this app was one of the worst I have encountered.
I do understand that the company has to make its money.
However, I can only imagine how frustrating it is for regular users.
2. Glitchy On Occasion
Since the app isn’t the cleanest app and with everything a little bit messy, I wasn’t surprised when I encountered some issues.
When I went to earn coins through some of the features, the app occasionally would crash on me.
Or would stop working to a point where I would have to close Fortune Cat and then re-launch it.
This could be due to the amount of traffic going to the app. However it is still worth keeping in mind if you plan on using it.
Fortune Cat seems to be a good app to start with, a lot of users report it being easy to earn coins.
Users are also finding it not too tiresome to get to the coin amounts the developers require to redeem.
However where the problem lies is with the active points, which users are forced to earn 600 of in order to withdraw.
This would be okay if it wasn’t for the fact that you can only get 8 of these a day.
It, therefore, means you will have to play for months to get hundreds of these.
So while the app is easy to work, the developers are making it almost impossible for a casual gamer to redeem rewards for any game featured.
Due to this, its best to avoid this app, until they fix this aspect where users don’t have to reach silly amounts.
Now if all you want to do is earn diamonds, or some cool skin in Free Fire, don’t worry as I have you covered!
In this post, I have covered a number of apps, that allow you to earn rewards such as Google Play to use on your favourite games.
Feel free to check out the list of paying apps here.
