Welcome to my Fancy Fishing app review.
Standard fishing involves you putting a reel into the water with the aim of getting a fish.
However, this app seems to offer something different, and if we just put common sense to one side, this one claims you can fish for items such as iPhones.
It does sound a little silly. However, this game has many people thinking that they will be able to get a new phone by playing this game.
But is it even slightly true, and can users really get rewarded for virtually fishing?
Stick with me today, as, by the end of this post, you will know what is really going on, whether you can get a brand new phone playing this game and if it is legit.

What Is Fancy Fishing?
Now I will be honest fishing, in general, doesn’t really take my interest.
But when someone says you can earn cash and new gadgets by doing it on a mobile game, it did get me a little interested.
This game that goes by the name of Fancy Fishing is owned by Luckyxiong-studio.
Despite luck being in the developer’s name, a lot tells me this one is like the rest of the below-par games I have reviewed.
First up, this game isn’t the first one to involve fishing for rewards,
It’s been done by both Relax Fishing and Happy Fishing.
These were both done by different companies; however, I found them to be ungenuine.
So I stated in the reviews I wrote for them, I didn’t recommend them.
As you can tell, the name of this one is too similar to those games listed above.
You will also learn in the upcoming section that it is not the only thing alike.
How Does Fancy Fishing Work?
Back when I first started this site, one of the first money-making games I came across was a fishing one.
It featured one fisherman sitting on his boat holding a reel.
Fancy Fishing is very similar to that game.
Now how it works is you put the hook deep into the water by pressing start.
While in the water, you aim to pick up as many fish as you can.
At the start, you have limitations on how far you can go and how many you can carry.
This is where the upgrades which are common for all idle games these days come into play.
As you can there are three upgrades you can make.
The first one increases the length.
The second one increases the amount of fish you can reel up, and lastly, you can upgrade how many coins you earn per minute.
To upgrade them, it will cost you coins each time.
The more you upgrade, the higher the upgrade cost.
How To Make Money?
Making upgrades and playing through will make it easier also to make cash.
The aspect which I am guessing most of you are interesting in learning more about.
Cash can be found in the water in bottles along with the fish.
So while you want to be picking up fish, if you want your virtual balance to increase, picking up these racks of cash is what you need to aim for.
Once retrieved, you will be able to open up the bottle to see how much you have won.
In my case and from the first bottle I collected, I received:
To claim it, you will need to click save to your wallet.
You should now see it displayed in your balance on the main menu.
How Do They Pay?
The minimum threshold, while conveniently not mentioned in the advert, is $100.
If you tap on the dollars you have earned, you are presented with some nice rewards.
You have PayPal, Amazon, Starbucks, Adidas, and Nike.
For all of these gift cards, the amount needed is $100.
There is no info on times for rewards being sent out or any other terms.
Mainly because their options aren’t real, and likely no one is reaching them.
What You Need To Know About
With Fancy Fishing, I could easily make an essay on them and all the game faults. However, to keep it short and sweet in this section, I will go over the two aspects you should know about the app.
1. Don’t Let The Slick Look Fool You
Out of all the fishing games I have tried up to now, this one looks best in terms of looks.
The gameplay is smooth, the design is nice, plus the cashout options look so good it’s almost believable.
Now despite the payout section almost fooling me, ultimately, there is no money to be earned.
You may retrieve 1 bottle or 100 bottles from the virtual ocean. It doesn’t matter since you can’t cash out.
So if you find yourself at $100 and thinking your one click away from the withdrawal, you have been working hard for.
Let me say that it’s not going to happen.
I will be honest I haven’t got to the point where I am even close to withdrawing. That is because I don’t want to waste hours of my time.
But I know from my experience with water-based games like this that it’s not possible at all.
The clue is in the advert that they are promoting right now, which I will discuss in a second.
2. iPhone For Everyone
You know that famous clip where Oprah goes around her audience giving people cars.
Well, this game is like that, but also not at the same time.
The advert for Fancy Fishing portrays this image that everyone who downloads their game is going to get iPhones.
It seems like no questions asked and almost certain to happen.
However, the developers, unlike Oprah, aren’t giving anything out.
This is coming from someone who has reviewed nearly 200 games, making the same promises.
Unfortunately, the reality is that to get items like iPhones is fairly hard.
To pay for the one, you would most likely need to work full time for a month.
Not play a fishing game for an hour.
If it were really that easy, not only would everyone would have one, but there would be no one working day-to-day jobs.
Conclusion
Fancy Fishing is a game I could review in my sleep because they are such a carbon copy of what’s out there.
They say you can earn all these cool things by playing a virtual fishing game.
But there is never anyone coming forward saying they have received anything because the app is like all the others.
They don’t pay, aren’t paying, and unless anything drastic happens, they likely never will.
One aspect I can’t ignore is the fact the game isn’t bad. It’s enjoyable.
If you’re looking to get a fresh iPhone mailed to you, I suggest looking elsewhere as this is definitely not the game for you.
