After finding out Shape Keeper had released another game, I decided to do a Brick Buster review.
These developers are known for creating various make money games, most of which get a lot of attention within a short period.
So when I saw not only Brick Buster but the installs it was bringing in, I put it on my to-do list to check out.
Now, like playing any game by a developer, you get used to how they do things.
E.g., if you buy the new game out of a franchise, there will be differences between that one and previous games.
But at the end of the day, there will be similarities to previous titles, so you know exactly who is creating the game.
This was the case with Brick Buster, and in this post, you will know whether or not that is a good or bad thing.
So if you are here because of the early hype, I will set the record straight on whether they pay or not.

Brick Buster Review Summary
- Owner: Shape Keeper
- What Are They?: Ball Shooting Game
- Recommended: No
What Is Brick Buster?
Brick Buster is just like it says on the tin. It’s a game where users are given a ball and need to bust a load of bricks.
It’s very simple and having played it reminds me of games like Lucky Toss 3D and Ball Shot Brick as they are both games where you need to aim.
Now I know Shape Keeper very well as I have reviewed many there games, and it’s safe to say I was surprised by this addition, as it doesn’t keep in line with previous apps they’ve released.
They are all idle/Plinko based consisting off:
But this one is different as some thought is required to play it rather than just doing a few taps with the ones I listed above.
This game is in the early days as they were released on the 7th of September 2020. In less than two weeks of release, they have over 100k installs.
Its a lot of people downloading a game so quickly as for games like Solitaire Real and 2048 Cards, it took longer to reach the milestone.
But as I will talk about later, what contributes to these games growth is the advertising, and this is something Shape Keeper has seemed to nail down.
How Does It Work?
When you get on to the app for the first time, you will be presented with this.
Here you have an area surrounded by logs that include bricks and other items.
The aim is to shoot balls and take out all the bricks. When you shoot, it will bounce off the sides; however, eventually, it will stop.
No, you have to be precise with your aim and try to knock out all the bricks.
Each brick will award you with fifty coins. If you knock out all off them, you will rack up a couple hundred.
How To Make Money With Brick Buster?
After you have taken some shots, you will be presented with an opportunity to earn cash.
A wheel will appear that will include rewards such as coins and cash.
In order to spin it, you must watch a video first.
There are a few different turntables that you will be able to spin.
Here is the highest paying one:
You can get up to $200 on this turntable, but on the other turntable, it starts from just a few cents.
Now while it just likes your doing a simple spin, I do get the sense that it’s pre-determined.
For instance, if you play the game for the first time, you are not going to land at $200, as that would be them giving you money for free.
How Do They Pay?
As you start picking up money here and there, you will likely start getting interested in a payment.
From playing, you will start picking up three types of currencies.
From the slots that are unlocked from shooting bricks, you will get fruits.
These can be cashed out when you have collected 25. That will award you with $100.
The second is coins; these can be converted into PayPal money, but not until you have earned $100.
You also have tokens; for these, you need 4 million of these for the lowest gift card.
They don’t tell you how much you get for the tokens. However, based on other games, I would assume $1.
Now lastly, there is a final way to get a big payout, which is by finding 777 from the slot. This will give you $1o00.
I have no clue if this is possible to achieve, but I would presume that it is very rare to come by.
Lets now move on to the next section of the Brick Buster review.
Are They Legit?
As I was talking you through above, Brick Buster has some appealing reward options.
Just hitting the 777 would give you a jackpot prize of $1000.
However, is this genuine and is it even possible?
Now there are surprisingly people coming forth saying how they won a couple of thousand bucks.
But this was taken away from them, and the users weren’t able to cash it out.
So maybe this was a mistake.
But one familiar pattern is the inevitable decrease in earnings.
I took my time to read through the Brick Buster review section, and a lot of people were saying the same thing.
Because of the hype of the game, many people are putting in a lot of hours to try and get rewarded.
So many people are getting to around $90 to $95. However, they are finding it increasingly difficult to push on.
Its only at this point that the earnings have gone from $5 to $10 to literal cents.
Just like the other Shape Keeper games, this one looks like its limiting the number of people who can get paid.
What I Am Not A Fan Off
1. A Game To Pass Away Time
Compared to other games from the same developer, there’s more of a challenge for users.
I have found that Shape Keepers games have been quite dull.
That without the feature of earning, there isn’t too much point.
It doesn’t mean this one is amazing, but its a lot better as you have something to do that isn’t just sending balls down.
This one is challenging, and there is a strategic aspect to it as you need to aim in a way that clears all the blocks.
2. Unlikely To Get Paid
It’s hard enough reaching the thresholds of these games, but when you log on and find out some of your earnings are disappearing, it can be quite frustrating.
This is exactly what’s been happening to some members. One person, in particular, said how they were at $90; however, when they went to open the app the next day there, the balance was $70.
When you review a lot of these games, you start to see familiar issues from other apps. Users having there balances altered is something I have seen many times before.
This is one of the aspects a lot of these free cash apps don’t share.
Now even though that user experienced an issue with there earnings, the likelihood is that even if money didn’t go missing, that person probably still wouldn’t have reached the threshold or even been paid.
Conclusion
The advert makes Brick Buster look like a quick way to raise lots of money just by playing a game.
In fact, they claim you can win over a thousand dollars, but the only people getting that money is likely to be the developers in Shape Keeper.
They are known for doing many questionable things, from:
- Making it hard for users to cash out
- Using the same adverts for all their games
- Misleading people
- Finally, not paying out.
So to conclude, this is a game where you could have some fun with it. However, you will be very lucky to get any reward from it.
If you do want to earn money, I suggest checking out either these making money apps or this list of reward sites.
Unlike these developers, they are well known and will pay you every time for your efforts.
I hope this Brick Buster review helped you out.
If you have any questions or experiences playing the game, do let me know 🙂
