Devons a cool chap, I and he go way back.
I don’t actually know him, but from what I have seen, he comes across as someone who as a passion for helping people make money.
That is a rare trait, as most self-acclaimed gurus are all out there to make money, but from my research, this isn’t exactly the case with Devon.
Going by Devon Brown, he is 22 years old and grew up in Salt Lake City, Canada.
He is someone who helps people with growth, dating, and owning their own business. Safe to say he is an all-rounder.
If you have glanced at the photo above, you may recognize him as this isn’t the first program he has released.
He has also launched the famous:

- Web CopyCat – He helps you get leads and conversions as well as helping
Some of you may also recognize and remember him for his role in the program ‘The Next Step‘ that is because he is an actor and ex-hip hop dancer.
What Is The 12 Minute Affiliate System About?
The 12 Minute Affiliate is a system that will help anyone get started and make money in affiliate marketing. That is what they claim anyway.
The main selling point is…
‘Teaching You How To Make Daily Commissions Through There Ready Made System’
The product revolves around getting visitors, capturing them as subscribers to an email list, and then setting up an auto-responder to care for the rest.
Well, sign me up is what I say.
Not really, but as you can see, Devon as presented the system well and makes it seem like an effortless way to make money.
If you know how affiliate marketing works, you will know that so many people know what it entails.
However, while making that $400+ a day feels achievable to many, it also seems like ridiculous money to others.
But when you see statistics such as only 3.2% of affiliate marketers earn over $150000 per year.
It doesn’t fill you with confidence that this 12-minute affiliate system is going to be so easy.
This means that if you take Devon up on his offer and make the amount he claims you can.
Well, you will reach the $10,000+ milestone that the vast majority of affiliate marketers get nowhere near.
What Do They Sell?
By signing up to 12 Minute Affiliate System, Devon claims, you will be getting $7,031 in value from everything that is included.
1. DFY Funnels
First up we have the DFY funnels, DFY stands for ‘Done For You.’ Like it suggests its funnels that have been set up and are ready to go.
You will be using these to get leads signed up to an email list. Here you are getting $2,240 worth of tools.
2. DFY Emails
After you have got people through the funnel, the next key part of the system, which is how you will be making money, is the emails.
Devon will give you already written emails that can be used to send to your email list straight away.
The point of this is to give you emails that not only convert but save you the time and money.
While in business, there will be times you will want to save money you are missing out here.
You are getting the emails and just sending them off, which means you aren’t learning how to write them.
One of the key parts of a business is being able to communicate, and with this aspect it’s not a win-win.
3. E-Z Funnel Wizard
This is something I like, and that is the ability to do your own funnels.
In business, you will need to learn from your mistakes, and by doing this, you are able to test out what works and what captures leads.
Being a system that revolves mainly around that does it for your idea giving you some control here is good to see.
4. Access To A Private Facebook Group
Here you can get help from Devons team and join the others who have brought the training.
The idea of buying a system and being in a group where you can ask questions is a good addition.
With so many programs out there, the owners promote them saying how much you can make, but what happens is when people buy it, they often feel alone as there lacking the support they need.

Devon certainly loves things already done as here we have traffic, which is also done for you.
He claims that you can get traffic from a click of a button, which is true. However, it isn’t sure where its actually coming from, which is concerning.
Not only that, but the traffic element is also all paid, which means you will need to put in money on top of the subscription fee to get any results.
If you want to learn how to build a business using free traffic as opposed to paid, I would recommend checking out Fimp and Wealthy Affiliate. Both of which are far cheaper to start with.
6. Various Bonuses
Above sums, up the main aspects you are paying for, but up next, there are bonuses that have been put in to entice you to sign up.
These consist of:
- The Success Library – Here, you will get access to all the personal development training that Devon has made. Here he goes over the mental side of having your own business. You will be taught how to accomplish tasks, stop procrastination, and get more stuff done.
- The Traffic Guide – This includes how to get traffic using 16 ways.
- Hot Product Promos – Once you have set up, you will be able to get this bonus. Here Devon and his team will promote products to benefit you.
How Much Does The 12 Minute Affiliate System Cost?
You have the choice between either a basic or gold membership; from there, you also have two ways you can pay for it.
The difference between each type as complete sets of the features. For instance, instead of having to choose one niche from 3, you will get all three niches.
Another notable incentive for going to gold is you will 30 affiliate funnels instead of 10 and 240 follow up messages rather than the 120 you get with basic.
I would say despite the improvements you get for paying those extra bucks, there isn’t a lot between the two.
Back to prices an no matter which one you choose, you can try it out for $9.99, which is for seven days.
However, you will need to spend $47/m for basic and then $97/m on the gold membership.
You also have the option to buy the lifetime ones.
This means you are paying just one cost and won’t need to spend any more (apart from upsells that are within the program).
You will need to spend $397 and $797, respectively, for the two.
Making Money With Devon
You also have the opportunity to make money alongside Devon with the 12 Minute System affiliate system.
Here you can get paid to refer the system to others. You will be given a link to use, and every time someone buys the product, you will get a commission.
The rate is 50%, which you means you can make up to $398.50 per sale if someone purchases the most expensive membership.
You can also get monthly commissions is someone decides to join on a monthly basis.
What I’m A Fan Off
1. Overhyped However Real Expectations
What I find kind of weird about Devon’s promotion of the program is how he goes from overhyping it in the sales video, but when you scroll down, he gives you honest expectations.
You would expect him to be consistent with the over hype and saying how good it is by saying you can get instant results.
But check out the FAQ below.
Yes, all throughout the video, he does over hype what 12 Minute Systems as to offer and makes it look easier.
But as you can see, he makes it clear that you won’t be making money overnight and that the people who do its uncommon.
He goes on to say you might be able to make your first sale in the next couple of weeks, which can be done in internet marketing if you know what you are doing.
So he does give you realistic expectations and doesn’t make outrageous claims on how much you can make, he also states this.
The System Is A ‘Get Started Quick’ One Not A ‘Get Rich Quick’
There is a big difference between the two, so I like how Devon as differentiated the two.
Now don’t get me wrong Devon is trying to sell the product.
I mean, everyone wants a product of there’s to sell well, so it makes sense for him to pull out all the stops.
But as you can see, he is truthful with what he puts forth to you.
However, with all that said, I moved on to look at the earning disclaimer that is found at the bottom of the page.
I know from a business point of view he has to put this, so he isn’t sued, but what you can see is that he says there are no guarantees you will make money.
It’s slightly contradictory as in the video; he is talking like you can’t possibly go wrong by buying it.
However, he’s covering his back by saying there is a chance you won’t benefit financially from it.
2. 60 Day Money Back Guarantee
Despite the fact you are given a 7-day free trial, you are given up to 60 days to decide whether or not the program is for you.
This is good as it leaves you ample time to test out the features and hopefully make some cash.
If not, you can get your money back, which is an aspect I like. Not every program offers this. For instance, with Easy1up and Up2Give once you have handed over your money, that’s it.
What I’m Not A Fan Off
1. Only 12 minutes Of work?
We have already spoken about the key parts of the 12-minute affiliate system.
You have the already done for you landing pages, the attainable and apparently targeted traffic, which requires one click, and that’s about it.
This is just misleading for those who are new to affiliate marketing, as it’s not as easy as what Devon makes it out to be. There are so many other parts to it.
If you have experience already, then I can see how someone could make money.
Technically if you can send traffic to a landing page and convert that into long term email subscribers that will buy whatever you promote, then your winning.
When I started in affiliate marketing, I had no clue about traffic; I thought the only definition was the one associated with roads.
So for a newbie to set it up and have it up and running by the time they go to bed is not realistic.
If you are doing any type of marketing, there is no such thing as ’12 minutes a day’ when starting out.
Starting any business requires you to put most of your waking hours into it in order to grow and scale it.
Think of it like this: when a baby first comes into the world, it knows nothing but the fundamentals. It’s your job to bring up that child, and the same goes for your business.
2. Do It For You System…Really?
Here’s the deal there are probably a lot of people making money from automation services.
And while there are more that inevitably fail than succeed, I can see why some might work.
With this, you are relying solely on a system to make you money, which nine times out of 10 just won’t work.
3. Not Just One Price
You have stumbled upon a 12-minute affiliate system, and your seeing just one figure is $9.99.
Right sign me up, but hold up.
Devon makes it seem like buying his system is all you need to do. However, that is not the case.
That is because you still need to invest in more, which is no surprise with programs like this where more costs are common.
You have traffic, plus you will need an autoresponder membership in order to capture the leads and send emails out to them.
If you want a good autoresponder, you are looking at maybe Mailchimp or Aweber.
There are many out there, but typically you are looking at spending around $15-$20 a month just on an autoresponder.
That is for the small plans, so if you want more, you will need to spend even more.
Then we move on to traffic which, like autoresponders, is not cheap.
What I find very interesting about this aspect is how Devon takes care of it and sends it to the landing pages that you make.
Now first, let’s get one thing out the way, paid traffic can be expensive. However, it’s a good way to get things going quickly. Hence the system is called what it is.
But with this, you are relying solely on Devon to send you traffic that converts to sales.
Since you are paying for it, though, and you are not handling this part yourself, you have no clue about the quality of the traffic he’s sending your way.
You pretty much have to take his word and hope those commissions come through.
Would I Recommend The 12 Minute Affiliate System?
I wouldn’t say 12 Minute Affiliate is a scam. However, because some people will be able to join and use what is given to make money, I will say they’re legit.
However, that doesn’t mean I recommend it. I don’t; there are just too many questionable aspects that don’t work with me.
The whole automation aspect is a no go, and when it comes to buying traffic, you have no clue where it’s coming from, also not something I like.
If you want to do what is taught, you could set up a website, pick a niche, write engaging content, and capture email subscribers that way.
You could get paid traffic to drive to the website, but from a legitimate source, so you know what your getting.
What you can do is try it out, they do have a 60-day money-back guarantee, so if it does work for you, you can get your investment back.
A System That Relies On You But Works?
What I have found is that the kind of people who put their money into a system like this either have no self-belief, want to skip the steps, or believe its the best thing out there.
If someone asked me whether I wanted to join them, I would probably say no.
That is because I don’t believe in shortcuts or systems that are done for you hence why I don’t recommend the 12-minute affiliate system.
Reiterating what I said earlier, if you want to succeed online, you have to do the work yourself and persist with it.
When I first started, I thought I could get started in the business world and make money online overnight. I know so cliche.
That was before I understood what it entailed.
